Labyrinth: A Queen in hidding {On Hold}

The end of the beginning

Sarah was standing in her room, looking out through the window and out over the still half sleeping Labyrinth. The night before she had gotten news from Sago that Melora and Arreci was coming back home again around lunch time this day. Sarah closes her eyes and takes a deep breath. "Okay, you can do this. It's not hard, you just have to say your right words. Just the same way that you did back then." Sarah tells herself and she opens up her eyes once more.

Determination was shining in her eyes and she turns around from the window. She waves her hand to change in to some proper clothing for the occasion, cloth that was not far of what she had been wearing 10 years ago when she had become the champion of this Labyrinth. She opens up her the door and she heads down to the throne room.

The room was empty and Sarah smiles to herself, this couldn't get any better. She walks over to the throne and she sits down on it, her smile only growing bigger. She leans her head back and she listened to the silence that was around her.

But the silence did not last for long and Sarah opened up her eyes as she could hear the voice of Leira coming closer to the doors. She was angry all ready and she was half yelling at the guards.

Sarah knew exactly as to why the fea woman was so angry, she had after all seen her as she had tried to find her ever since she and Jareth had returned back from his parents. The castle might have hidden Sarah from Leira, but the castle had not hidden Leira from Sarah.

The door soon slams open and the angry voice come to an end the moment Leira saw Sarah sitting in the throne smiling. "Well, well, well. Look who the goblin dragged in this early in the morning." Sarah said and she looks at Leira.

"You, how dare you sit in the king's throne!" Leira said and she starts to walk towards Sarah. Jareth was following after her as a puppet, not saying or even looking at Sarah. The guards on the other hand moved towards the sides and was keeping close to the walls.

"Well, since the spirit gave me the full power over the Labyrinth I can sit where I want. You see, Jareth here is sadly not fit to rule anymore so the Spirit passed the throne over to me." Sarah said simply and she could see the anger burning bright like fire in Leira's eyes.

"How dare you even tell such lies. Jareth is the king and I am going to be queen. There is nothing you or the spirit can do about that." She said and Sarah just had her head and she slowly rose up from the throne.

She walks towards Leira and Jareth and she walks around the two like a predator walking around its pray. "I got to admit you almost managed to full me Leira. But you see, you can't win this round. I know what you have done. I know what you have done to the king and what you have done to the high king and queen to." Sarah said and she keeps her eyes on Leira.

Leira follows every movie Sarah makes and she narrows her eyes. "I haven't done anything towards them. The king loves me and his parents just addors me." Leira said but deep down she knew it was no use trying to cover up what she was doing.

"Oh I have known Jareth for a long time and the man before me now is not the man I know. This is just an empty puppet you are in control over." Sarah said and she was acting as if she was thinking.

"There is not many ways of doing so but there is one of course but we all know that it's forbidden to use that style and you would never have done that, right?" Sarah said in a mocking voice and she stops walking around them and takes a few steps away. "Because that would be a sentence of death if you have." She then added.

"How dare you accuse me for something like this! Guards arrest that traitor. She is not the Labyrinth Child, she is just after the crown." Leira said and she points towards Sarah but the guards did not move.

Leira looks at them and her eyes where glowing whit anger. "What are you guys doing! Arrest her!" She calls out once more and Sarah could not help but to laugh at her attempt to save her own skin.

"They are a part of this land Leira, if you had actually read up on the land you are trying to take over you should have known that it's people has a special bond to its land and kingdom." Sarah said and Leira looks at Sarah with hate.

"They have known from the start that you had bad intentions for this land and they know that I am the Child of the Labyrinth. They won't follow any orders from you. But if I were to give them an order they would do it with all their hearts." Sarah said and she looks towards the captain who nods his head towards Sarah.

Leira lifts her hand towards Sarah once more when she was not looking and she sends out a stream of a magic towards Sarah, but as soon as the magic got close to Sarah it died down. Sarah just shakes her head and turns back to look at Leira who was now shaking with anger.

"Did you not learn from last time? Your magic dose not work on me. And before you decide to do anything else or say anything else just keep in mind that words down here has power. You wouldn't want to do anything that would destroy the hold you have on Jareth now would you?" Sarah said.

Leira looks at Sarah with pure hate. "Oh trust me, there is nothing you can do or say to break this course. The only one who was able to do it is long gone, I made sure of that 10 long years ago." Leira said with a laugh and Sarah looks at her.

Distant screaming and crying was echoing in Sarah's head but she pushed all of that away, she could not think of that in a moment like this. "You should know by now Leira that things down here is not what they seems." Sarah said with a low voice and she lowers her head.

"What was that? Oh never mind I win either way. Jareth, finish her off!" Leira said and Jareth starts to run towards Sarah, his hands reached out and aiming for her throat. Sarah could see how the guards were about the save her but she only waved her hand to stop them.

Sarah slowly lifted her head up and she let Jareth hands get a grip around her neck. Sarah looked in to Jareth eyes and before he could start to strangle her she opened up her mouth and said Six words she had not said in a long time in a low voice. "You have no power over me."
