CHAPTER 23
These past two weeks since graduation have been filled with last minute wedding details. When I'm not planning the wedding, I'm either at the pool with Robin or asleep at home. Not to mention, I've been packing up all of my things for the move into our new house. Caleb and I have already decided to move in two days after the wedding. I've already made Caleb build bookshelves in our bedroom since we've asked everyone to bring their favorite book, movie, or CD wth their names on it instead of the usual wedding gifts.

"Charlie." My mom called as I zoned out. "Charlie?"
"Sorry, what?" I asked.
"We need to get going if we want the wedding to start on time."
We got in the car and left for the bridal store before heading to the beach. It's finally the day. I get to marry the boy that I'd give anything for. He completes me and I don't know what I would do without him. The whole trip there I thought about everything that has happened to us this past year. It's definitely been a senir year to remember.
When we pulled into the beach side hotal, my mom said, "Charlie, I want you to know that I would have never advised you to get married this early. But I think you're making the right decision and I am so proud of you."
I reached over and hugged her, "Thanks mom."
Before we went to spend quite a few hours preparing for the wedding, my mom and I went to see how the setup on the beach was going. The staff were setting up the rows of chairs. The aisle wasn't going to be covered in anything because I wanted it to be sand. I love the way that warm sand feels under my feet. The chairs were wooden and painted white. Caleb and I decided on baby blue hydrangeas. They were placed on the inside chair of every other row and had silky white fabric cpnnecting them. It was perfect. My mom and I went back to the car and got out the two large whicker baskets. We placed them at the end of the wooden walkway to the beach fr everyone to put their shoes in.
We snuck my dress into the hotel room and went to look at the party deck. Caleb and I had decided on two ong rectangular tables. There were three center pieces on each table and they consisted of practically white driftwood and more blue hydrangeas. I had to make sure that the floral company knew that I hate roses because otherwise I can almost guarantee there would have been roses in our center pieces. More of the white fabric was drifted from the pergula. My mom managed to convince the band to play in the sand so that we could use the beach as a "dance floor."
My mom and I decided to have lunch right down the street at a beach side restuarant. It was nice being able to spend some time with my mom before the wedding. It felt like any other mother/daughter lunch. We were able to just sit down and talk for a while. It reduced my stress levels and I felt a lot better. I don' know what I'll do without my mom these next few years.
When we got back to the hotel, it was two thirty, just three hours from the ceremony. Robin, Katie, and Morgan were sitting on the bed in the hotel room when we walked in and I hugged all of them.
"We caught your man trying to get a sneak peek at the dress," Morgan explained.
"You didn't hurt him, did you?" I joked with them.
"Maybe just a lottle," Robin laughed. "Here he left this for you."
I unfolded the little piece of paper and read the note.
Dear Ms. Holton,
It is of my understanding that come six o'clock this evening, you will bear the name of
