Final Breath

I run into battle on my steed
Going full speed
I shout commands
This fight will end
I can go home and accept the offer
My Alexander..
He gave me an offer to come and join him
I will see him again

I yell what to do
Just like you used to
My Alexander...
I steer my steed
Still going full speed
I reach for a wounded man laying there
My Alexander...
My wife,
My child

They are waiting for me

I pick up my gun and-

I feel something tear through my chest
I tried my best
I fall on the ground
My head is pounding
I'm screaming in pain
It hurts, but not as much as
The pain in my heart
I feel myself tiring
I'm expiring
I take a breath
A final breath

I raise my hand
For a second
Just a millisecond
I go back in time to where
I met you
My Alexander....
But then I go back
To the pain
Where I lain

I go to your house
I pass Philip's room
Then I come to you
Your crying
My Alexander...
I hug you tightly
You lift your head slightly
You look at me
I smile
You have so much to do
do what I couldn't do

I'll see you on the other side

(*Is a gross sobbing mess* also, when he visits Alexander's house, he's a ghost)
