It's my fault
He's gone
It's my fault....Words repeating
I feel myself Retreating
I run, but the words won't leave
I want to believe
It's not my faultBut in the end,
I understand
It is my faultI left a friend
A man with family
Who depends
On him
AloneI remember us,
Young
Bold
Thick-minded
We all sang a song full of joy
But that songs torn without repairIt's my fault
I'm now the one who shot him
I'm the monster who caught himIf I could go back in time
Re-write the story with a rhyme
Switch the fates around
And make it better
With a simple letterI'm sorry
