My Mom's....

My mom's shoulders,

Are strong.

She's able to hold,

The whole world on her back,

With breaking a sweat.

She sometimes falls,

But darling,

Of this I do not fret.

She will rise again,

Like ashes from a fire,

And will fly even higher,

Then she did before.

My mom's ears,

Hold secrets that banged against my teeth,

The ones I could not keep.

Her eyes,

Have seen the things,

She tries desperately to protect us from.

She has more courage in her thumb,

Then most people have,

Throughout their whole body.

She could be terrified,

And look at me and say,

"Don't worry."

I used to be afraid when night began to fall,

But she taught me,

To be Brave and stand Tall.

My mom's hands,

Callused and rough,

Have held me high,

In my lows,

So I knew,

With her there

I could fly.

They've been covered in blood,

From scraped knees and elbows.

They've held my hand,

Through hard and dark times.

She taught me,

That sometimes things don't go as planned,

But you have to fight,

And get through it.

Even if it's long and seems to have no end,

She will be there,

And I will be the one she'll mend

Back together,

Whole again.

My mom's mind,

Kind and wise.

Can be seen through,

Her hazel eyes.

You can tell,

By the lines sketched into her face,

That she's has had ups and downs,

But keeps running,

Because she will not lose this race.

She's always there,

No matter how far apart we are,

Because the best thing about her,

Is her heart.

Big and full,

When hate shoves you out,

Love will be the pull,

That brings you back in,

And keeps your veins hot.

My mom is...

Strong

Beautiful

Caring

Brave

Fearless

And Inspiring

Most of all,

She's my mom.

I'm so lucky to have her,

In my life.

With her here,

Pain will subside,

And strife,

Will vanish.

I love my mom,

With all my heart.

She has taught me,

How to be strong.

And what was right and what was wrong.

I couldn't have had anyone better,

Then her.
