Sheila had her hands full. Barty would not leave her alone. He even went so far as to give her detention one time, all for the sake of getting her alone. She ended up using that detention to question Barty further on what he was up to at Hogwarts. She couldn't wait until it was over; she'd be able to get rid of him then.

On the night of the final event for the Tournament, everything proceeded as planned.

That is, until Potter reappeared, clutching the Triwizard cup and sobbing over the body of Cedric Diggory. Sheila was absolutely dumbfounded by the sight of him. After careful planning, he still lived! Despite the fact that all the odds were against him!

The imposter Moody stepped forward and took Potter in hand, guiding him up to the castle. Sheila, thinking someone might find it odd for her to follow, cast the Concealment Spell on herself before doing just that.

She kept muttering incessantly to herself as she walked, "Why is he not dead? What are we going to do?"

When they reached Moody's office, she stopped in the hall and lifted the spell before stepping into the room and closing the door behind her. Potter barely seemed to notice her; he was too grief-stricken. Barty tossed her a key and she locked the door.

Barty immediately began pelting Harry with questions. It was confirmed that the Dark Lord had indeed returned, as had his few remaining Death Eaters. Harry insisted that there was a Death Eater at the school, and he wanted to know who it was.

"I know who the Death Eater is," Barty said quietly.

Harry was looking very wild now. He didn't seem to think much of Sheila's presence; she had not said a word the entire time.

Barty had completely dropped his act and was rambling at Potter, telling him everything he had done just to be sure that Harry made it to the end of the Triwizard Tournament. He was talking quietly, a wild happiness on his face as he threatened to end Potter's life then and there. This was when Sheila spoke at last.

"I do believe my brother would want the satisfaction of killing Potter himself," she said quietly.

They both turned to look at her. Potter looked as though he were only just noticing her.

"Leanne?" he said, obviously confused, "But...what are you doing here?"

Sheila gave a cold smile, "That's not my name, Potter. Didn't Dumbledore tell you about me?"

Harry just stared at her, completely uncomprehending. Sheila opened her mouth to continue but she suddenly caught sight of the Foe-Glass sitting in the room.

"Oh no..."

"Stupefy!"

There was a flash of light, a splintering of wood, and the fake Moody was thrown across the floor. Dumbledore, Snape, and McGonagall appeared in the doorway.

Hardly understanding why she did it, Sheila stepped protectively in front of Barty, her wand raised. Dumbledore's eyes met hers.

"Sheila," he said quietly.

"So you know," she replied calmly, "How?"

"Myrtle happened to slip that during the alarming events of two years ago, during which the Chamber of Secrets wreaked havoc upon the school, that the student known as Leanne Carmen came to her one evening and revealed herself to be Sheila Riddle. Now you must imagine my alarm when I heard this. After all, Sheila was a student who had already spent her seven years of schooling at Hogwarts, along with her brother Tom. So how is it that you're standing before me now as a thirteen-year-old?"
