We held a small ceremony in a small room of the funeral home.
It was my request to hold this ceremony for you because I knew, soon you would be cremated and sent to Mexico to be buried in the family graveyard.
I wanted this so you could see, wherever your soul went, that there were people deeply effected by your departure and wanted to say goodbye to you. Even if they weren't ready to say goodbye or wanted to say it in this situation, many showed up and some surprised me and I hoped they surprised you too.
