Yesterday I swear I heard your laughter. It sounded just like you, that for a moment I believed you were not really gone. When I looked for you, I couldn't find you and then I remembered where you had gone.
I felt my eyes water, felt the tears run down my cheek before I could make it inside the apartment.
From then on, I started spending as much time as I could outside of the apartment. I just couldn't handle being there alone anymore.
The memories of you in that place haunted my every thought.
