I was asked to speak at the ceremony by your sister and mother. You don't know how much I wanted to say no, but I felt like I owed it to you to share your last words.
It wasn't easy, I had to stop many times. My voice caught at the back of my throat, sobs threatened each time I pictured your face, and tears still slyly plummeted as my soul grieved.
Still, I continued and made a few people cry with a smile. I hope you heard me wherever you are.
