Imagine: Missing Sam

You were in the bed of you and Sam's room, it was late at night and pitch black dark. You roll over and notice that Sam's spot is empty.

"What the hell?"
You mumbled to yourself and then patted down the bed, just making sure it was real, and he really wasn't there.
Sometimes you had a hard time telling if it was your mind playing tricks or if its just reality.

You turned on the lamp on your bedside and sat up. You looked all around the room. No Sam. It was weird that Sam would disappear like this, especially when he knew you hated being alone.

"SAM?"
You shout. He had to be around somewhere. You just couldn't handle this.

You started to shake, you were terrified.

"Sam please! You know I hate being alone!"
You whined and started to shake even more. You slid off the side of the bed and grab flashlight. Maybe it wasn't the best idea to go out on your own. You had to though, Sam was your boyfriend. You were only in your pajamas, but didn't care.

"Sam where are you?"
Your voice cracked and you felt tears forming in your eyes.
"Sam?"
That's when you stepped out of the bunker, out of your safety zone. You knew then that if you were caught by something, that was it.

You suddenly heard your name being whispered in your ear. It echoing in your mind. You couldn't tell if it was real or not.

You heard it again, it chanting, louder and louder.
"STOP IT!"
You shouted and started to hyperventilate.

You hated that Sam wasn't there to comfort you. You had to ignore this and keep going.

A few miles later, you were exhausted.
But you did find a abandoned warehouse. 'Maybe Sam is here.'
You were hopeful.

You could hear someone screaming in the distance.

Sam?

It was Sam!
"SAM!!"
You shouted and scuttled towards the voice.

That's when your vision went black and you felt tape go over your mouth.

"Nice try, princess."
