***6 months later after Reina recovering from her incident***

( (Y/N)'s POV)

"Dad that's so lame..." Reina groaned and playfully pushed Sam on the shoulder.

"Really Reina? Lame? I don't think you know what lame is.." Sam smirks evilly at Reina, causing her to erupt in laughter.

"You know what's lame?" You spoke out after minutes of you being silent and enjoying the daughterly moments between Sam and Reina.

"What's that?"

"The fact that you haven't started your PowerPoint yet. You're in college now Reina. Back to school. That means no more slacking off. I'm happy you're feeling better but you've got to start doing your work." You lectured.

Reina just rolled her eyes.

"Anatomy is hard mom, harder than the course I took in high school. Can dad at least help me? I know he's a book nerd at heart."

You tried not to bust out laughing when you saw Sam's facial expression.

"Hey! Sure I'll help you. Only if you stop using book nerd as an insult."

Reina stuck her tongue out at Sam.

You were so proud of your family of three. After years and years of Reina disobeying you and Sam, after the gun incident, she was like a completely different person.

"Fine but please help. You too mom. I can use all the help I can get."

****
This was the fun part, helping Reina with her anatomy PowerPoint. She, Sam, and you were all doing research on pink eye.

"Mom, dad...this is disgusting." Reina whined when she clicked on a picture with a person with pink eye.

"Why do I have to do stuff like this? It's so nasty!" Reina then attached the pink eye photo to her PowerPoint slide.

"I guess they want you to know what it looks like and the signs of it." You explained.

"Yeah." Reina says glumly.

Sam cleared his throat and glanced at you and Reina.

"What do we know now? So we can type it onto the slide?" Reina rolled her eyes.

"I've learnt a lot about pink eye. So let me read out the symptoms. Pain in the eyes. Redness irritation, redness of the eyelid, discharge, dryness, itchiness, puffy eyes, swollen lining of the eye. Watery eyes. I hate this dad."

Reina complains and face palms herself.

"Keep going."

"Fine. Nasal: congestion, runny nose, or sneezing." She typed up as fast as she could, pounding the keyboard as she typed.

"Hey. Slow down. I know this sucks, but you need to slow down and try not to make typos."
You clarified.

"Okay, Okay. The last of the symptoms: sensitivity to light."

"Good." Sam praises and looks at what Reina had so far on the PowerPoint.

"Alright. Pictures, symptoms, treatment. This is all right?"
Sam tilts his head at Reina, hoping she was finally done.

"No dad. Now I have to site my sources. The professor will literally get on our asses if we don't site the sources." Reina groans and finishes up the rest of the PowerPoint.

"Now I just decorate it and add effects. Then boom, done."

****
The next few days went by speedy, the time Reina has off from college after the accident, to heal up and such, was enjoyable to you and Sam. Now today her little recovery time was over and she had to return.

"I don't want you to go.." Sam uttered.
"I'll miss you too much."

"I'll miss you too, dad. But I'll be okay, promise."
Reina smiles warmly at Sam. She was excited, and you were so proud of Reina. But in reality, you were just like Sam.

"What about me?" You ask, trying not to sound too upset.

"Of course, but not as much as dad." Reina says teasingly.

"Oh that's good to know." You crossed your arms and looked down.

Reina walked over to you, and pulled you into a strong, hard enough to crack your ribs hug. Then she did the same to Sam.

"Be safe, I mean it. Or I'll come after you." Sam winks at her, knowing she'd most likely be fine.

"Yeah I will be, don't worry." Reina reassures.

"Bye baby." Sam waves to the brunette, as did you as she walked down to the campus.

She'll be okay, she'll be okay.

(Reina's POV)

Reina kept repeating her fathers words in her head.

Stay safe, I mean it.

Of course she was going to be safe, right? For some unknown reason, she didn't feel safe at all.

Such a strong depressing, dreary feeling came across her. She sensed something negative. Something awful.

Suddenly, she heard a deep, deep male voice from behind her.

"HEY REINA!" The male shouts, making her jump.

Wait a minute, I know that voice.

"Shaun? What the hell? Stay away from me!" She knew Shaun disappeared after the accident, but she didn't know where the hell he went.

Reina stomped backwards and then slams her back against a brick wall. "Fuck."

She muttered, and glared at the awful man.
"Shaun's not here anymore, Sweetheart. He's long gone. Maybe it so happened to be I was the one who shot you." A hideous smile formed across his face.

Where's the campus security when you need them most?

"This is going to be so much fun..." Shaun cracked his neck and made his way towards her.

This is not going to end well.
