My eyes seemed to become unable to look away from the folder. The folder wasn't clean and nicely kept. It had scratch marks and many areas were torn. Many mysterious white splotches were here and there, but I didn't question them, knowing in the back of my mind the worst possibilities.

What if it's his gay porn?

What if it's a folder full of pictures of dead bodies?

What if it's his Phanfics? Please don't let it be like the hat fic. I swear to God, I'm not planning on becoming scarred again. Well, probably again.

"Ughhh.. what the heck." Giving in, I opened the crumpled folder.

Immediately after I'd opened the folder, the entire thing fell apart. The folder ripped in two, as various papers slowly fell to the ground. It was all in slow motion, as pictures and probably important documents all fluttered in the non existent wind that I had put in to make the scene more dramatic.

Are you fucking serious?

I sighed as I picked up all the papers. As I did, I scanned over most of them. A certain one had caught my eye. It looked like a contract, as a signature was written messily at the bottom. I began to read it, surprised at its contents that were full of large words I had never seen or heard before.

"This ag..ree..ment is here..by.. entered into this 20th day of April, 2016, between Doctor Juan Wan of the Insane Asylum of Cre..tuk and Mr. Investigaytor of the In..vesti..gation.. De..partment.." I tried to read, struggling at reading and comprehending the words.

Before I was able to finish reading the paragraph, loud knocking could be heard from outside of my door. Curious, I walked over to the door and leaned my ear against it.

"YOU BETTER GET OUT HERE, TRASH!" an alarmed voice yelled out. The voice was familiar, yet unfamiliar, which was weird. But then I realized.

Ah.. The same guard from before that had told me my wrongs.

Her voice now completely contradicted her voice then. It was loud and cold compared to the soft and caring voice from before. Her voice was loud enough to gain the attention of everyone within the hallway.

"N-NEVER! THE FOOD IS TRASH." another voice responded in a high pitched tone. Contradicting her previous tone from before, she said, "It'll help me die faster anyways."

Surprised, I stepped back. It's that time already? I turned my head over to the left side of the room, which was accessorized with an old fashioned dresser that rattled slightly even at the slightest movement of the walls that were caused by things like knocking. Above the dresser was a dirty clock that read 1:55, 5 minutes before lunch.

A softer knock interrupted me as I awkwardly stared at my left wall. Quickly, I tucked the remaining papers and photographs inside of the folder sandwich I attempted at putting back together and tossed it into my now open dresser. That was a shit idea since it exploded inside of my dresser, but not before ruining my paper-free floor as I closed it.

"Y-yes?" I asked, trying to calm myself down and patted my dress down.

"It's lunch, Jin. You coming?" A deep, husky voice asked me. Ah, a different guard.

"Of course. If you'll open my door, then I'll get going."

"What? I can't just let you go alone-"

"Shut up, newbie. Let her do whatever." A female voice interrupted.

"The hell? That's against-"

"Do it. Dr.'s orders."

Even with the cell door between us, I could still sense the large amounts of nervousness and how badly he's pissed off. The door opened slowly, as the presumably new guard pulled on it hesitantly.

"Thank you." I said to the male guard, and curtsied politely at him. Before actually leaving my cell, I looked around to see the situation. Right across from me, the female guard had a poor woman by the arms, and was pushing her towards the cafeteria line of miserable mentals. The hallway was guarded by two different guards, both being female. I finally began walking down the corridor, my footsteps getting lost within the sounds of screaming guards and the cries of my fellow inmates.

What a lovely place this is.

I grinned at the two guards guarding the hallway as I walked past them. They simply nodded to acknowledge me and allowed me to pass. To get to the cafeteria, I must go to the elevator. Remembering the way, I turned left which led to straight towards the blocked elevator. Another guard was protecting a locked wall, and held a key that swung on his belt. Upon seeing me, he hid his keys inside of his pocket and eyed me thoroughly.

"Hello, officer! I'm Jin. I presume you are new here."

"Yes, how'd you know? Where's your guard? You cannot walk around without a guard with you."

"Ah, I see you have not heard of me. Like I said, I am Jin. Let me pass."

"I can't. Leave. Or, get a guard."

"I said, let me pass."

"Orders are orders. I'm afraid I can't let you through."

"You're getting on my nerves.." I walked up to him, inching closer. Newbies are always such a fucking pain in the ass. "If you don't open it for me, I'll do it myself."

"MOVE AWAY!" In self defense, the man brought up his handy dandy taser from his super cool leather belt.

"...." all I did was stare in silence, making eye contact with the guard. I didn't plan to look away, I'm winning this.

"What are you two doing?" asked a familiar voice. The Doc.

I turned around, my dark expression turned light again. "Ah, it's The Doc~ Have you hired lots of new guards today? They all seem.." shitty- "..wonderfully ignorant."

"Oh? How so?" he questioned, one eyebrow raising.

"They.. won't let me through.." I acted as if I was genuinely sad, and pretended to wipe away a small tear from my non bandaged eye.

"Ah, I understand. I apologize, Jin. I will fire them immediately."

"W-what?!" The guard behind me said in shock.

I desperately tried to hide my incoming smirk, and thankfully I was able to hold it back. "No, let them stay- ugh."

"Jin, what's the matter?"

Might as well test it out. "I just.. feel like a memory from before is coming out.. but if you fire the one that trained these.." pathetic imbeciles "..new ones, then I feel as if the memory may clear."

Dr. Wan's mood instantly brightened up. His face changed from tired to a face full of disgusting hope. "O-of course! Guard, let her through. Never block her ever again." With that, he was finally gone and went off to do whatever.

I twirled around once again with one foot, and smiled at the guard. As I did, I tilted my head and he stepped aside to unlock the door.

I pressed the down button on the elevator. I sensed something from the guard, and swiveled my head around to stare at him. "Yes?"

"I- I'm really sorry. Please, don't let him fire me."

The elevator door opened, and I walked in. "I won't. But, don't let this happen again." Mid sentence, the elevator doors started closing. Make it quick, Jin. "Until we meet again, newbie." I said as I tipped my head slightly. The elevator doors closed, and the image of his terrified face replayed within my mind as crappy elevator music began to tear at my ear drums.
