Rock on dude... Rock on ;)

Nixie

I'm going to be honest, I didn't exactly plan to phase last night when I did. I guess changing early did that to me, my control isn't the best and somewhat irritatingly can't always decide when I feel like going from human to wolf and vice versa. Not that I’m complaining about going from human to wolf, its changing into a person when I don't feel like it that really gets on my nerves.

Moving on though, I did get a lot done in the night with the help of my sharp claws and muscular legs. I had ended up shifting a pile of rocks to reveal a small cave like structure. When I say cave I mean more of a hollow, the rock wasn't as solid in some areas as in others, and this particular area had a rather earthy texture to it; it was behind the smaller layer of much more solid rock which protected the face within the rest of the gorge. I could only assume the for the most part the top layer of rock was thicker than here since I hadn’t come across another spot that had worn through like this. Well, not yet anyway.

It had been quite low down, cramped and frankly a mess when I originally discovered it.

Since finding this weak spot though, I had dug out the hollow some more, so that it was a bit larger and more comfortable, and I had piled rocks around the entrance so that it was secure and more hidden. After this I gathered together the few possessions that I had and stored them inside.

As you can imagine, even as a wolf, right now I was exhausted.

Entering my newly made den I curled myself into a ball, tail resting over my nose and sighed softly before drifting gently into a relaxed sleep.

Logan

I growled quietly as Seth went over what had occurred the previous day.

Seriously, what the hell?

Some rogue had come into town and had not only failed to ask permission for entry, but caused a scene in the middle of town with humans present, created devastation on the main road into our home and put one of my best mates in hospital – no they had also felt the need to steal from a small local business beforehand. And, to steal mostly rubbish as well.

What. The. Hell.

“What the hell?” I snapped angrily, vocalising my thoughts.

“I can honestly say I'm on the same wavelength as you here.” Seth replied, running a hand briefly through his hair with a puzzled look on his face.

“Why couldn't they just ask to come into our terri- no scratch that, why did they feel the need to steal from here? Are they serious? Are they actually suicidal?” I said exasperatedly, flopping down on the couch as I did so. Adam laughed slightly, bitterly.

“Maybe. That's been the only logical explanation I can come up with after seeing her jumping into the cars like that” he stated, and as an after thought added “she looked like she was having fun though.” with a frown.
