Phase 2 the Flowers

After running through the marsh everyone was tired except me and Hisoka it seemed.  I was very excited to see what Phase 2 had to offer. There was this barn looking building in the clearing and the rusty doors started to open.  Out stepped a girl who introduced herself as Menchi she was no doubt the Procter of this phase.  "Hello everyone it still seems to be a lot of you out there, today's challenge will be to find my favorite plant used in cooking ever.  The Flower of Hearts. This flower is a rare delicacy. It has the ability to heal the injured, sick, or even a dead person, and strengthens the person in which receives the flower. You are to find it bring it to me and then I will inspect it. Then I will let you keep it as a gift out of this marsh. It will never die so you can use it whenever. And now that I have explained, you have 5 days to find and bring the flower to me then if you succeed in size, shape, color and ripeness, you will pass Phase 2." "On your marks get set GO!" I bolted and Hisoka was following me. I ran far and fast and looked all around for this extraordinary flower. I stopped at a river to get a drink of water. "~My my little fruit why were you running at such a fast pace?~" Hisoka cooed as I sipped the cool refreshing water.  "I want to find this wonderful flower!" I exclaimed "now leave me alone!" I yelled. "~ok ok I'm going~" he said almost sad as he walked away.  *Good I have other things to worry about than that ho-  I mean  psycho clown!* I thought to myself * Was I about to call him hot!?!? * I thought once more.  I walked down the creek and found 3 flowers that were blue but looked like a spade.  This must be similar to the Flower of Hearts. I picked these flowers and put them in my backpack. I walked further down and found 3 Flower of Hearts. *Lucky me* I thought as I put all 3 into my bag.  I walked further down noting I still had plenty of time. And I found 3 purple flowers except these looked like a diamond.  I picked these too and put them in my bag.  I still walked ahead and found 3 yellow flowers in the shape of a club.  I yet again picked these flowers and stuck them in my bag. I had found 3 of each flower and started to head back to the rusty barn looking building, I pulled a heart flower out of my bag and looked at it.  *What a peculiar flower* I thought to myself. All of a sudden I felt someone behind me but before I could turn around to attack I was stabbed in the stomach. They took the heart flower and went to run. My vision started to blur and I fell to the ground.  Before I closed my eyes I saw 2 cards fly and hit the guy in the back the flower was no where to be found and the guy fell right next to me. I could see the Queen of Hearts and the King of Spades sticking out of the guys back.  My vision went out and I was a heap on the cold ground. I felt warm hands grab me off the ground bridal style. The arms held me secure against a very well built man, his chest was tensed and rock hard. He held me tight but gentle. I was slowly bleeding out but I forced my eyes to open to see H-H-Hisoka! I saw him sway from side so side as he walked, then he jumped swiftly to a strong branch of a tree. He set me down gently and I saw him pull something out of his pocket.  The Flower of Hearts!?!? I had to close my eyes again they couldn't be held up.  I felt him push a piece of the petal into my mouth and gave me a sip of water out of his water bottle. I could feel my wounds healing but not all the way.  He pushed another petal into my mouth and poured more water into my mouth.  I swallowed again and my wounds were fully healed and I was strong.  I slowly opened my eyes to see his face looking at me now.  "~ Great now I don't have a flower. But If I didn't like you so much I would have probably let you die, you are very lucky that I like you so much Rem.~" "Wait I have one for you!" I yelled then realized my throat still hurt. I pulled open my backpack and gave him a flower. He looked shocked and happy that I would do that for him.  I smiled and he smiled a genuine smile that made me blush.  "~Why did you have 3 flowers?~" he asked in a husky voice that was very sexy.  "I really don't know but my mind was telling me to grab 3 just in case I got 3 of each of the other flowers too!" I explained. "~What do you mean other flowers?~" he purred "I'll show you later" I replied casually.  "Let's get to Menchi and relax." I said and he nodded and scooped me up again. "Why are you carrying me I'm fine now!?" I asked/yelled.  "~because I want to~" he replied as if it were normal for him to carry me. We made it back to the clearing in about 30 minutes. Before we walked into the clearing he put me down and we both walked to Menchi and she exclaimed "OH WOW IT DIDN'T TAKE YOU LONG AT ALL DID IT!!?!?!?"  "~Well it would have been faster but someone slowed me down~"  Hisoka cooed as if he were forced to help me. Menchi took our flowers examined them and shouted that they were perfect and we had passed.  We both were very happy. She told us we could do anything we wanted to do but we have to be back here in 5 days Including today.  I walked to a creek behind the barn with Hisoka and he asked "~What are you hiding from me~" "what do you mean?" I asked playing coy. "~You seem like you are holding something back~" he said almost as if he read my mind.  "If you insist on me showing you but you must not tell anyone!" I yelled the last part. "~Understood~" he said. "I am a shape shifter I was born that way and it's not my nen ability." I said sounding as if I was ashamed and thinking he probably wouldn't like me.  "~ You're a what~" he said "~that is so cool!~" he exclaimed "~ can you show me?~"  he pleaded "Fine what do you want me to turn into I can do anyhing" I asked. "~Turn into me~" he said anxiously "ok" I said as I turned into him in every detail.  He looked mesmerized as he stared at me/himself.  "~Let's make a deal.  I won't tell anyone that you're a shape shifter if you don't tell anyone that a have a soft spot for you, deal!" He proposed. "Deal" I said we shook hands and he smiled. I layed down and he got up and walked over to a tree and sat underneath the shade. It was now night fall and I was getting colder, I started shivering and I felt familiar arms wrap around my body and carry me over to where he was sitting he set me down and layed down next to me. We stayed like that for a while just feeling each other's warmth. It was the next morning and Hisoka was already up and cooking fish on a fire. I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes and yawned.  He waved. "~ And my little fruit finally rises.~" he cooed as I walked over by the fire.  "Morning" I say still sleepy.  I start eating the fish Hisoka hands me and he eats his too. Then out of the corner of my eye I see Asuki approach Menchi, not noticing me and Hisoka.  I tell him to hide and he pulls me up in a tree with him.  We both are hiding now and I hear Asuki mumble to her self "guess I'm the first one to pass!" "WRONG!" I yelled as I jump down out of the tree. She runs toward me as we wrap in a warm embrace. Then Hisoka follows me. "And who might you be?" Asuki asks Hisoka with sass in her words. "~ My name is Hisoka and I couldn't help but notice you with Rem the other day at the end of Phase 1. Pleased to meet you.~" Hisoka said. "Asuki this is Hisoka, Hisoka this is Asuki my sister." I said. "Pleasure" she said with a bored tone.  "Don't be rude Asuki" I snapped at her.
