"No, no, no, no!" I scream, he can't do that! I won't let him! I begin to panic.
"Give me the phone! Give me the phone now!"
"Kiddo I can't, the machines."
"Give me the goddamn phone right now or people are going to die!" I growl scowling at him. Giving in he hands me the phone. Dialling his number I wait for what feels like too long when he finally answers.
"I told you, I'm getting prepared now!"
"Puddin' what the hell are you thinking? I got told that I can come home soon, probably this week!"
"Harley you're not supposed to use a phone near your machines-"
"Says the guy who wants to BOMB THE ENTIRE HOSPITAL!"
"Harley I am going to warn everyone, I will give them time to evacuate people, you get yourself out of there and I will send someone to get you and Tree."
"But puddin' you can't do that!" It's too late, he hangs up and I huff out in exasperation.
"Tree, tell people to pack up their things, give them warning! Please." I say while pulling needles from my arms and detaching the heart monitor clips and hurriedly changing into the clothes I checked in with, blood still on the pants but now dried, how lovely.
"Ma'am, you haven't been scheduled to be discharged today." Just as she finished saying that the TV in the corner of the room turns on, Jokers face on the screen. Everything seems to move so quickly but at the same time in slow motion. A chorus of patients screaming, nurses hurrying around to evacuate the building. Tree comes running back in the room, grabbing my bag and dragging me by the arm quickly out of the room. Tugging desperately at my hospital bracelet with my patient number on it. I force it off, throwing it to the ground. Rushing down the stairs, just in front of other crowds of panicking people.
"Tree." I groan feeling a cramping, luckily not blood or I would be screwed. Not wasting any time he picks me up, being careful of my bump and hurrying down the rest of the stairs. A huge crowd of people are gathered trying to escape the building, sirens are blaring in the background and I begin to fear for everyones lives. Knowing the Joker he has had the bombs planted since I was admitted, he's crazy what else did I expect? For him to let me get better and then come home in peace?! Stupid, stupid Harley!
"Harley come on, look!" He points to a van that I recognise as the Jokers, part of me doesn't want to get in, not after what he is doing.
"Harley you need to hurry up!" Tree yells pulling me through the crowd of patients and staff. Giving in I get in and quickly sit down. Inside my puddin' kisses my cheek before speeding off, away from the panicking crowd.
"Damn it J why are you doing this?!" I scream at him, furious that he is trying to kill so many innocent people. Before he can say anything I hear a large explosion, turning back I see smoke engulfing the building.
"What is wrong with you?"
