After a lot of convincing Joker has agreed to taking Ivy far away and leaving her in a forest. She will wake up dazed and confused and unsure of where she is. Jokers one request was to tattoo a J on her wrist which I eventually agree to even though I still consider her a friend, she needs to be taught a lesson.
"Where are my precious babies?" I call out lovingly, walking through the house until I find them curled up on the couch cuddling each other and snoring softly.
"Let's get you to bed." I whisper as I pick them up, their heads falling to the side and slumping against my shoulder. I am going to have to go shopping tomorrow to get everything we need for my now toddlers. Since the crib is too small for the both of them and is designed for infants I take them through to my bed. Tucking them under the covers together they instantly cuddle up together, even though they are both fast asleep. They must have one heck of a connection in order for them to cuddle while sleeping. Grabbing a large shirt and knee high socks I head into the bathroom to take a shower. The warm water feels amazing against my skin, I forgot what it's like to be able to shower myself without a nurse helping me, to be able to wash my hair with shampoo that's scented and makes my hair soft. I hear a cry and then another one joining it, dripping wet I wrap a towel around me and hurry into the bedroom. Flipping on the main light I see the twins crying. Wet footprints follow behind me as I hurry over to the pair. Pulling Hazel into a sitting position I cuddle her against me, wrapping an arm around her and stroking her hair I sit Ace in my lap who quickly begins to suck on my thumb. Small little cries escape Hazels small mouth slowing down as I stroke her hair and hum softly. Minutes pass slowly as I comfort the small children until Hazel is asleep slouched against me and Ace still sucking my thumb while sniffling slightly. By the time they are fully asleep my hair is nearly dry. Slowly I place them back under the covers and hurry back into the bathroom. Patting myself dry and just towel dying my hair hurriedly I tug my shirt and socks on. Once back in the bedroom I see Joker kissing Ace's tummy and playing with his hair, Hazel still fast asleep. Staying in the doorway I watch as Joker happily plays with our baby boy, his father instincts seemingly kicking in. In order to make sure he didn't realise I was watching I move back a bit out of sight before walking back in and closing the door. When I had returned J was laying on the bed next to the children but not making any contact with them.
"Puddin'?" I question smiling, tipping my head to the side.
"Hello, pooh." He reaches out an arm. Taking his hand I approach him, placing a kiss on his nose.
"We should get some sleep, tomorrow we need to shop and look after our babies." I say, climbing in the bed beside him and bringing the children closer. In order to make sure the twins don't fall off the bed I place spare pillows on the side of the bed and some on the floor just to be careful and safe. My children have to be safe, no one is going to hurt them any further.
