"He's the Joker! I'm telling you! Check his hair! He has poisoned this little girl!" A woman holding the arm of a child who looks around 5 is screwing at Joker while a shop assistant is by her side. Joker is standing with Hazel in his arms, his hat pulled down tight. Rushing over to the commotion I start yelling myself.

"Don't you dare touch her! Leave my daughter alone!" I break into a run and once I am over to them I take Hazel from Jokers arms and hold her protectively to my chest, she is crying from the loud noises.

"Oh thank goodness! This man is the joker and is trying to steal your daughter!"

"Don't be stupid, he isn't the joker, he is her father! I should sue you for this, look what you have done to my child!" I yell protectively, Hazel is screaming and crying, her nose running steadily. Quickly I grab a tissue from my pocket and wipe her nose gently.

"I'm sorry ma'am but I am going to have to ask you to leave." The shop assistant says to the hysterical mother who is still screaming in Jokers face. If only she knew she was right and who she was yelling at. She still yells as she is escorted from the building, I try to calm Hazel down, her eyes wide and fearful.

"I'm so sorry, she is known to yell at other customers. Please excuse he." She continues her apology and offers us a discount. My heart is racing at how close that encounter got to being disasterous and possibly deadly knowing Joker. Hazel finally calms down and we hurriedly finish the dramatic shopping experience.

"We still need to get them beds." I comment as Joker starts to put in the car seats, I had walked with the kids while Joker drove, I didn't want to risk their safety. Now that we are home I can sort out their room. We have bag after bag of things, box after box of things to assemble yet for now still no beds. At least we have clothes, nappies and everything else we need.

"Kiddo and her kids where are you?" I hear Tree call out, his voice sounding strained. In he walks with two mattresses under one arm and two boxes with bed frames balanced on his shoulder and held under his arm. Hurriedly I take the box from under his arm before he drops one on his foot or falls over.

After hours of building the beds and keeping the twins out of mischief their room is finally done.

"Let's get you darlings some dinner." I coo at my precious children. Ace is still playing with his teddy which already needs a wash while Hazel is playing with a ball and shapes, she seems to be doing it quicker than I thought she would. There was no hesitation with putting each block in its place, she's going to be a clever cookie. Tree picks up Hazel while I take Ace, once in the kitchen we buckle then into their highchairs and I start getting their dinner ready alongside some for Joker, Tree and I. Family life is even better than I expected, I suppose I just have to wait for the screaming and crying to get really bad.
