Welcome to #bananapride's awesome Banana Contest! Now, here's the part where we lay down the laws. *stern expression* Please read through RULES and ROUNDS/VOTING before entering.
1. As always, be nice! This is a fun contest, and rudeness/sore-loserness/overall jerkiness will NOT be tolerated!
2. All entries MUST be under 4K reads in this contest. Sorry, guys, but this will make for a leveler (What? That totally is a word. (Just roll with it)) playing field. If your story has a little bit more than 4K, then ask us about if you're allowed to enter, and we can discuss it.
3. All entries must have 2+ chapters in them.
4. We accept all genres except for fanfiction and mature stories. Sorry! We love you fanfiction and mature writers, we really do, but this will make it easier for people of all ages and pop culture knowledge levels to participate in the voting and to make fair choices.
5. The public will vote for those who will move on to the next round, so choose wisely! Also, feel free to tag people that you think may want to participate/vote during this contest, but ONLY in the "Tags" section.
6. You may only enter one story per competition. :)
7. The contest will begin once we receive 30 entries (though, if that takes like a bajillion years, we may start it sooner).
8. If you've managed to make it through all of those, we applaud you. Now, onward! MAKE SURE TO READ THE ROUND/VOTING RULES BEFORE ENTERING IN THIS CONTEST.
