When Dean found himself at his front door, he was contemplating if he should go inside or not.
His mother was home and she would undoubtedly want to speak to him about changing his attitude. He made the decision to avoid her if she brought anything up about letting go.
He opened the front door and heard a beautiful tune. His mother was humming. He remembered it to be the song she would sing to him when he was younger and wasn't feeling well.
Slowly, he made his way into the kitchen and greeted his mother.
"Oh, Dean. How was your day?"
He felt a nervousness overcome him. His mother would never ask that, unless she had a hidden agenda.
