Chapter 4: Say Hi or Something!

Renae's pov

"PUT ME DOWN!"

I squirmed and kicked and screamed at David but I guess he won't be putting me down any time soon. Damn my mothers temper! Living with a Gemini affected me in so many ways on so many different levels!

"Ree!!" I heard one of the girls my sister and I had been working with call my name. As I looked over I realized it was Ana. This bitch. "Ree are you okay?!"

"You know for a fact only my sister is allowed to call me Ree and I am just dandy thanks for asking." She looked unsure for a second then threw me a glare, flipped her fake hair over her shoulder, and walked away.

"Never liked that bitch..." I muttered to myself.

As we approached the doorway David finally set me on my feet just as my sister came running into my arms squealing.

"Jackie?! What's wrong? Did Taveon do something? Was it boss? Who am I killing?!"

"I'm just happy Ree! We're finally leaving this hell hole!" I smile at her happiness. That's all I've wanted to see on her face is a smile.

David opened the door to the parking lot and showed us to the trunk. I swear if he thinks he's putting us in there he is DEEPLY mistaken! Or maybe I still have an attitude because, he pulled out what looked like men's t-shirts and pants and handed them over to us.

My sister accepted the clothes quickly and I followed suit mumbling a quick thank you. Finally some real clothing!

Taveon came outside just as we finished dressing. He opened the backseat door and motioned for my sister to get in. Knowing how she refuses to date she's going to do something mean. Yep, and just as I said she scoffed and walked to the other side of the car. All to climb into the back seat. Taveon looks at her with what looked like disbelief and irritation, and stands in front of the drivers side door. I can only shake my head at her.

David looked up at me as I turned around at the sound of the trunk shutting. "Look Renae. I'm very sorry for being so aggressive earlier," at that point I had a flash back to when he gripped my waist tightly and told me not to switch with my sister again, "my brother and I saw you and Jacquline in class a few weeks ago. We've sort've been keeping an eye on you two. My brother actually had the nerve to introduce himself to your sister in class some time ago, but she was a bit...uh, stubborn I guess. I myself never got the guts to walk up to you, or even say hi. I mean I could have written you a letter, or a note. Wait no, not a note, that's so chi-"

"Uh David?" I interrupted his little speech "What is this really about?"

"Well I... I was wondering if you'd maybe like to go on a date with me?" At that I let out a small giggle and nodded. He seemed so nervous just to ask out someone like me. He even rambled on!! GAWD! That was cute!

"Yeah I'd love to David." I smiled and climbed into the backseat with my sister while he climbed into the driver's seat. "Hey where's your brother?"

"Oh uh, he's going to meet us at your house. He went to....scope the place out" I nodded at his explanation but I was confused. Wouldn't walking there take more time than riding with us? Oh whatever. I held my sisters hand as the large Range Rover started moving towards home. Or our soon-to-be-old home since we're moving out.
