Chapter 23: Talking & Revealing

We're finally back in the United States of America. It kind've makes me think that there was really no point in leaving if we ended up right back where we started. David, Jackie and I are heading to the castle, while Tav takes care of a few things. Although I have a feeling the reason he left, has to do with a certain stubborn girl.

"Renae, Jackie, I'm going to take you into the ballroom. My mother wants to see you." Jackie and I smile at eachother and begin squealing like little kids. David only smiles. Finally!

Arriving at the castle Jackie hops out the truck and makes a run for the door. Me being five months along, I slowly try to slide out of my seat to get out of this truck. David comes and gently lifts me into his arms. I giggle as he shuts the truck door and heads in the same direction as Jackie.

Walking into the ballroom, David and I found Jackie and the Queen having a full fledged conversation.

I bowed slightly before speaking "Hello your highness."

"Oh sweetie! Please just call me mum!"

I smiled and walked towards her slowly.

"Well mum, you're going to have to like the name Grandma too."

His mother smiled wider and walked over to me.

"Renae honey, I'm so glad my son has found a woman like you," she giggled and whispered to me "He needs a strong woman with a sense of humor. He was always too serious." She winked and went to hug her son.

"You need to leave now. I have to talk to the girls alone."

"Yes mother." David bowed with sarcasm in his voice and smiled slightly and then walked over to me.

"I've got my phone if you need me, Tav and I are going to discuss with the guards our plan okay."

I nodded and kissed him and then he bent down to say goodbye to the baby.

In a sweet voice he whispered "Daddy will see you soon. Be good for mommy." He kissed my tummy and turned to leave.

"Oh and my mother made an appointment for you to see the royal doctor babe. I'll be back for that though." He smiled as I nodded and then he was gone.

"Girls, please sit down." I waddled over to the chair next to Jackie as mum began to speak.

"I know you girls probably do not want to believe me, but I need to tell you this."

Jackie and I looked at each other and then back at her.

"What is it momma?" Jackie asked.

"You guys are not human."

What?

"Yay! Omg! What are we!?" Jackie said squealing. We both looked at her confused, and like she was crazy. She looked back at us, then scoffed.

"Puh-lease. Renae you can not tell me it's not boring being human! It's all normal! And weak! And oh goodness poor me! I've been hoping all my life that I was secretly not human!" I chuckled at her, knowing what she said is true. I didn't exactly enjoy being human. We always did kind of think there was something else on this planet besides humans.

"Anyway...You are both Hybrids."

Whaaaaat?!

"Wait, what do you mean hybrids." I asked curiously. Jackie groaned and sighed.

"It's when you're born with more than one species in your blood. Like half-vampires, and half-werewolves. Duh!" She said smiling

"Oh and how do you know all this? Huh?" I said
