So I'm gonna be kinda lazy and skip a couple years of Virklo's life, don't worry nothing too important happened, he just trained and got bigger (aka went from being a hatchling to a Wyrmling and got a bit more confident and wise with a little bit more of Zex's personally intertwined with his. Also I'm back on track with the updates and school so expect a onslaught of updates, any who enjoy the story!

I can't believe it, I'm finally a Wyrmling, technically I'm like a pre-teen but it's better then being a toddler! We had been flying around for days, just traveling and sightseeing until I can figure out where I am and how far away I am from home. Also while on our travels we learned the humans language, it was easier to learn then I had expected. While we where flying I spotted a nearby dragon runway, it's basically a place for travelers to reload on supply's and/or rest for a couple days. Slowly I landed next to the den area and walked over to a fellow dragon. (Also I don't think I told you how he looks but Virklo's is a very dark blue dragon that has 4 legs, 2 wings, and has a purple and a burgundy eye. Sorry 4 the interruption, CONTINUE READING!!) She was a silver dragon in her late Wyrm years (the oldest dragon stage 4 a dragon aka shes really freaking old). She had a smooth scaly outer shell with long spiky protrusions on her head and around her body.

(Thats her and her child)

Softly she called out to what I assumed was another dragon, who came barging out of the den area, he was a hatching, probably in his later years, he had an odd appearance but I didn't judge. The elder told him to get me or bring me to what I needed. Then the little on slowly walked up to me and asked what I needed, he was obviously afraid of me so I softly said "I just need a little food and some herbs for healing and magic, then I'll be on my way." Happily the little one scurried over to a shelf and stared packing things, then the silver one spoke to me with her frail voice "are you going questing?" Confused I asked " No I'm just preparing for the unknown battles I might soon have. Whats Questing?" She smiled slightly and said "Questing is were many dragons from around the planet gather to battle so they can uncover the unknown or lost memories or can learn information none other will ever know. My son wants to go but he isn't quite old or strong enough for it." Interesting, maybe if I win the Questing I could learn about how to get to my birth place. Obviously intrigued I asked "Where are they having this Questing tournament, I wish to compete" "Really? But your only a Wyrmling, you'll be out of the board before the first tendrum!" she said in surprise, confidently I said "I'll take my chances. If I don't win its not like its the end of the world I could try again when ever it takes place again, plus it'll help me become stronger and prepare me for whats more to come in my life." a small smile appears on her face as she said "You sound like a Juvenile, any who the tournament is in the clearing up ahead, me and my son will come with you to help guide you and to watch." I smiled in appreciation as she nods her head and the little one comes back with my supplies. Quickly I toss the bag over my head and we all headed off to the tournament, it was a faster flight then what I amused and we quickly landed at a large gate.

The 2 said that I need to go through the gates to compete and they would go to another gate to get to the watching stadium. They wished me luck and then left, nervously but feeling confident I walked through the gates and was introduced to another dragon who asked a bunch of questions and then sent me through another gate and into a waiting area. I asked some others what was happening and apparently I needed to wait until they called my name and then I would go out some doors and battle a dragon of the same age, usually, unless my skill or power is more advanced then i'd go against someone of higher standards. After a couple hours my name was finally called and I was up against another Wyrmling, he was very confident but from the look of his body structure and expression he was unprepared to battle and was unfit to do so as well. Even so I shouldn't let my guard down, he might surprise me. Quickly he faced me and started to sprint over to me, I let him get close enough to attack to give him some hope and then as he swung at me I dodged it and bared my claws into his chest and ran down his body as the force from him running swung him by, making me use minimal effort and energy doing so. Blood dripped off my claw as he collapsed on the ground and I was called the winner, I feel as though my combat skills were unusual because as after I defeated the Wyrmling the dragons went wild as they cheered on at me. Confused I was escorted back to the waiting room and I had to wait to battle again, as I waited the other dragons were staring at me, uncomfortably I turned away from the rest and rested my eyes. I didn't fall asleep but it helped pass time as my next battle was about to ensue.
