There I was skating on the ice with Yuri Katsuki, one of my heroes, someone who I've looked up to forever. He smiled at me across the ice and I returned it. We moved together, our bodies perfectly in sync, this was the most amazing feeling ever. I had never skated with another person before and skating with Yuri was unlike anything I had ever done before. He was beautiful to watch but skating with him was something completely different. I smiled back at him, this whole experience was so amazing I couldn't even put it into words.

We stayed off the ice together both panting and out of breath. "Thanks that was awesome." I said between breaths. Yuri smiled at me "ya, you're pretty amazing." I blushed "Th-thank but really I'm not as good as you" I chuckled "you've only been skating for three years and your already better than most of the other skaters in your group who have been skating longer." A small smile tugged at the corners of my mouth. "You're pretty amazing too, I mean I could only hope to be as good as you"

"I think you will be better." I stared at Yuri, shocked. "No, no way you said it yourself I haven't been skating long, I've only been doing this for about three
years I mean-"

"Exactly my point, you've only been doing this for three years and you're already this good. I think anything can be taught just like anything can be learned but how good you are not only depends on how badly you want something or how hard you work for it I think part of it really is pure talent and skill, and I think you are someone who is extremely gifted." I blushed harder and looked down "th-thank you" I said "Yuri!" I heard a man's voice call in a Russian accent, Viktor. My head snapped up and my attention turned to were the voice had come from. There stood Viktor on the other side of the ring waving his hand in the air. "V-Viktor!" I squeaked. Yuri chuckled by my side "listen I know he's pretty intimidating, you should have seen me when Viktor first arrived asking me to be my new coach but don't be intimidated,"

"That's easy for you to say, how long did it take for you to get comfortable being around him?!" I asked. Yuri paused to think before answering "ok good point, I guess I can't really help you." I was still completely in shock, here I was talking with Yuri Katsuki about Viktor Nikiforov who were both standing right in front of me, Yuri was trying to give me advice about Viktor when I was still freaking out about the fact that I was just standing near him. Viktor approached us and his eyes locked into mine. My stomach lurched and my heart be can to race. "You're the girl from earlier this morning," he said sweetly. "Uh- ah um y-yes! That would be me heh," I said nervously trying to speak around the lump in my throat. "Viktor, this is y/n l/n" Yuri's said from beside me. Viktor's eyes widened slightly "You mean the figure skater who only started three years ago?" He asked. I nodded, I didn't realized just how famous I was, I mean I knew that my story wasn't like any of the other skaters but I didn't think so many people would recognize me. "Aren't you going to make your senior debut this year?" Viktor asked. I nodded my head unable to find words. "You're skating this morning was beautiful" he said reiterating what he had told me this morning. I blushed, "th-thank you" I said. He stepped closer, startling me allowing a squeak to escape my mouth. Viktor watched me, he hummed as he observed me. "Allow me to help you" he said after moments of silence. "Wha-what?" I asked "allow me to help you reach the top, let me be your coach." My mouth dropped opened but I quickly closed it. "No! No that's ok! You have Yuri to worry about you do that need to worry about coaching me!" I said waving my hands in the air in front of me. Viktor grinned, "it's ok, I can coach more than one person it's been done before, you needn't worry about my ability to coach both you and Yuri." He reassured "no-no really! You don't want to do that!" I said. Viktor took another step closer. "No, I'm pretty sure I do," Viktor leaned down in my face so our eyes were level. "You have great potential, and I want to help you achieve your goal." I tried to swallow but my throat was completely dry. "Tomorrow, meet me here, four thirty sharp" he said before straightening up leaving me red faced and flustered. I nodded my head vigorously, "oh-ok" I said as I made my way to the exit.

I checked my watch yet again and it was almost ten thirty when I arrived home. I walked into my house and made my way to my room, the memory of what had happened at the rink played over and over in my brain. I threw my bag on my bed, and curled up next to it, I think I really needed a break, I know what my mother had said was true and that I couldn't afford to take a break but this morning was too much for one person to handle, I needed a solid nap. I let my eyes close and quickly I had drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to my mother rapping on my door. I pried my eyes open and looked at the clock, it was four o'clock! I had slept for almost six hours. I raced to open the door, flinging it open to reveal my mother standing there in the hallway. "Ah, ya, I know I overslept sorry-" I began but my mom raised her hand cutting me off. "No, it's ok your father and I let you sleep, I figured you needed it," I let out a sigh of relief. "However there are two men in the kitchen who are looking for you." My eyebrows shot up and I raced down the hall like a mad woman. I slid into the kitchen to see Yuri and Viktor standing there. My eyes grew even wider and I rubbed them to make sure I wasn't dreaming. Yuri turned to me and offered me a smile. My mouth hung open as I tried to get my brain to form words. "Wha-why? What are you doing here?" Viktor smiled at me "we're here for dinner." I nearly fainted, I couldn't believe any of this was happening.

My mother entered the kitchen wearing a couple fused expression. "Mom this is Viktor Nikiforov and Yuri Katsuki, Viktor has offer to be my new coach." I said. My mother beamed. "Well how lovely to have guests." I sighed, I was wanted to curl up and die right there in the middle of the kitchen. "I uh, I'll be right back." I said before I left the room. I don't understand. What was happening? Why was Viktor and Yuri in my house? Was this real? My mind was racing, I've looked up to Viktor and Yuri all my life, never in a million years would I think that they would end up here with Viktor offering to be my coach. The whole thing was insane.
I went in the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I was a mess, my hair was tangled and my eyes still looked tired. I let out a long exasperated sigh as I dragged a brush through my hair and I tied it back in a ponytail.
There I stood, in the middle of the bathroom, gripping the edges of this sink as I tried to gather my thoughts. There was a soft knocking and I turned to see Yuri standing in the doorway. "Ah! So sorry do you need to use the bathroom?!" I said trying to get past him and through the door so I wasn't in his way. He put his hands up to stop me. I froze, looking at him, I felt the warmth of his hands on my shoulders and my face flushed a deeper red, that had been happening a lot recently, I was so nervous around Viktor and Yuri, it's like just being in their presence caused my face to stay a constant shade of red. "I just wanted to talk, I'm sure this whole situation is overwhelming." I nodded my head, "the same thing happened to me when Viktor first got here saying he was going to be my new coach, although you're handling it a lot better than I did. Anyway my point is, you don't need to be scared or nervous, you'll get used to him eventually that is, if you accept him to be your new coach, and I really wish you would, I would love to be able to skate with you more often." I'm sure I looked ridiculous, I was probably a blushing mess but offered him a smile, "th-thanks" I said. Did it ever occur to Yuri that I was intimidated by him too? He was a puzzling character, but I liked it. I smiled to myself as I followed him back to the kitchen were Viktor and my father were sitting at the table, deep in conversation. I took my seat next to my father, and across from Viktor. "So Y/n, Viktor here tells me that he offered to be your new skating coach." I nodded my head to confirm what he was saying. "Well that's fantastic!" I bobbed my head in agreement. Viktor smiled brightly, "I do hope you accept my proposal Y/n" he said, "well I would love to, but like I said earlier at the ice rink; you already are coaching Yuri and I'm worried that if you start coaching me too I'll only get in the way."

"Nonsense! You won't get in the way, most coaches have more than one student at a time." I looked down at the table, "I guess," I mumbled "then it's settled! Well start tomorrow!" Viktor cheered. I snapped my head up to look at him, wide eyed. "bu-I-um," I fumbled over my words trying to get my brain to form a coherent sentence, before I gave in with an exasperated sigh. "Ok then, I'll be there, I guess." I noticed Yuri smiling out of the corner of my eye, and smiled to myself. Well I guess I have a new coach. I can only imagine what insanely unthinkable thing is going to happen next.
