26.Build Up

Cascade P.O.V

I looked over to James who looked scared as we drove threw the night. He kept taking glances at me and knew why. He could feel the power coming off of me because I didn't want to hide it. I knew I had to stop at some point because I was turning all the water I touched black and I knew why.

"How far do we have to go?" He said stopping at a red light.

"Just drive." I said to him and he looked at me.

"Cas, are you alright? I know we haven't known each other for a that long but I do feel like you're not doing alright. You and Nate both seemed off today, or as if something was wrong." He said as the light turned green.

"No, we are both fine, just ready to deal with this bitch." I said sternly and looked at him.

He still gave me a worried look but something in me just didn't care about that. Me and him are out here to get her attention not talk.

"Alright, I have something for you." He said never pulling off.

I rolled my eyes as Nate connected with me feeling me getting frustrated.

"What's wrong sweetheart?" He said amused.

"James is what's wrong with me, overly worried and scared." I said back to him.

"Remember sweet heart, we are going to kill her so don't worry your pretty little face off." He said laughing at me.

"I was looking around the house since crazy as fuck isn't there and found some stuff." He said reaching to the back seat.

He pulled a small box about the size of a birthday cake and opened it. I didn't have time for this when there was business to take care of. The though of killing her was making me crazy on the inside and I smiled at my insanity.

"Here." James said handing me something.

He handed me a small stack of pictures and a diamond bracelet as well. The bracelet brought back memories almost instantly. I remember my dad giving me this when I was about 6 and it had a message to me on the side.

"To my favorite girl in the whole world." I said out loud and looked at James.

"Is that on there?" He asked as I turned it around showing him.

"That's so cool you just remembered that, I keep having problems remembering things. I saw these pictures and I did remember one thing and that was you." He said finding a picture and giving it to me.

It was a picture of him crying and me sitting on the floor mad. I remember this picture, I was holding his teddy bear and I remembered his name.

"Brown bear, I remember this." I said looking at him.

"Yeah, when I saw It I got pissed all over again. You took him and ripped his arm off because you're a spoiled brat." He said sounding mad.

"No you were just being a cry baby, all I wanted to do was play with him and you started crying." I said back to him.

"So you rip off his arm." He said.

"Yeah." I said back to him and we just looked at each other for a moment.

"I missed you and I never really knew you." James said making my heart warm and that dark power.

"I missed you two, but the bad part is I don't have any memories of my other two brothers." I said sadly.

"They both were great, funny, smart, always a good time when they where around." He said slightly angry.

I looked at him and I noticed a purple tint in his eyes and I moved back from him. He looked at me confused why I suddenly moved.

"Your eyes." I said excited.

"How yeah something was in my eye earlier, and I kept messing with it so its kind of red." He said.

"No stupid, your eyes turned purple when you got mad." I said moving closer to him.

"Back up." He said pushing me away.

"You're a witch!" I said excited and he looked in the mirror.

"No I'm not, I would have known that." He said in a sarcastic voice.

"You're an ass James, but I know what I saw and after years of your brain being messed with you would have never known." I said and I heard Nate in my head.

"She's coming." He said and I turned serious and James noticed.

"Is she close?" He asked looking at me and I nodded.

I stepped out of the car not wanting what happened last time to happen again. James followed me stopping front of the car. I could feel her as well now, she was angry and that's how I wanted her to be. I wanted this victory to be hard, and well fought for what she did to me, Nate, my brothers, and both of my fathers.

"Remember we are behind you." Nate said in my head and I nodded knowing he could see me.

I'm not sure where everyone was hiding they I could feel my pack was here with me. I looked as the street in front of me started to turn dark and she was there. She looked like shit, with her hair every where and a bandage over her eye. She had nothing but her eye on me and James tired to move in front of me but I stopped him.

"Stay behind me." I said to him and he looked at me.

"What? why am I here if you don't want me to fight?" He said angry.

"Because I wanted you to help me get her here, I don't want you to get hurt so back up." I said letting the demon in me come out.

She smiled at me as James backed up and I looked at her ready for her this time.

"I see your little boyfriend gave you his power." She said in a dark distorted voice.

"And I can see you losing your power, sadly because I wanted you to really fight me." I said and she frowned.

"I can still kill you weak or not." She said angry.

I didn't say anything just made it start raining as heavy as I could get it. I looked at her pass the black rain that fell over my head and I felt amazing. She started for me when Nate suddenly appeared in front of her. His power was at full blast not holding anything back like I was and the fear I saw in her was amazing.
