Two Days Later

Cascade P.O.V

My eyes slowly opened and I looked around the hospital room I was in. I felt a hell of a lot better but I still didn't fell well as I tried to move a little.

"My Luna you need to lay still now." An old voice said to me.

I looked up at the person seeing it was an old male doctor, about late 60's with a warm smile.

"You're alright and so are the little ones in you." He said walking around the bed.

"Yeah, and I'm alright as well." Nate voice said making me look over.

I looked at the bed right next to mine and smiled at the beat up jerk next to me. I reached over to him hugging him and he did the same softly kissing my cheek.

"I just knew you where going to be dead." I said to him and he smiled.

"Please you think a little thing like a rip in my air tube was going to kill me." He said laughing.

"Yeah, just like it would kill anyone." I said back to him.

"Oh Cas shut up, the most important thing is that you're alive and so are my twins." He said smiling at me.

"Not twins Alpha, there are three of them in there and growing fast. One is smaller than the other two but that is to be expected in any group of pups." The doctor said walking out.

I sat back for a moment and looked at the TV as I heard a glass move and I looked at Nate. He was drinking a beer and I wondered why did the doctor let him do that?

"Because I'm the Alpha, and I do what I want." He said without looking at me.

I didn't say anything back to him as I need a moment to think. My mother was dead now and all I had to do was live a happy life. The feeling that I would never know everything about my childhood bothered me but nothing I can do about it. I looked up as James and Pam walked into the room and I smiled at them.

"Hey, how's it going?" James said sitting on the edge of my bed.  

"Fine, I'll be okay and the pups are fine as well." I said looking over to Pam who looked as if she would cry.

"Pam?" I said and she looked at me.

"Pam stop this, you did almost kill me but almost is the key word here." Nate said slurring his words slightly.

"I'm still sorry to both of you." She said sadly.

"All is forgiven Pam." I said to her and she nodded walking out the room.

As she walked out Nate's mother walked in giving me and hug then moved over to Nate. I just sat back as James started talking to Nate as well.

"How are you Cascade?" Xavier voice rang in my head.

"Good, but lucky I have to say." I said back to him.

"No, not lucky just smarter then you gave your self credit for." He said slightly laughing.

"How so?" I asked back.

"You knew how to use that power I gave you even if you don't see it. You pushed all of that power down to protect your pups." He said shocking me.

"How did I do that?" I asked him.

"You just knew what to protect, and that help the power of your mother nature come out in you. I'm proud of you, its not easy being like us and not turning evil. People like your mother never understood that but we don't have to be scary." He said serious.

"Thank you Xavier, we wouldn't have won this war with out what you gave me." I said to him.

"No problem dear, I gave that to you because I saw a little of me in you. I'm guessing that's why Rose did the same for Nate." He said making me look at Nate, who was now looking at me.

"What do you mean?" I asked him still looking at Nate.

"Well when we had to do what we did for you to have my powers, Rose did the same thing for Nate. I mean the though of her kissing another man is annoying but I understand why." Xavier said before Nate started to laugh.

"You ass whole, why did you tell me!" I yelled over to Nate.

"Will you marry me Cascade?" He asked still amused.

"No, you jerk." I said slightly laughing.

"You made out with Xavier!" He yelled to me laughing.

"Yeah and you knew about that, but with Rose, behind my back." I said and everyone looked at us.

"Will, talk with you guys later." James said offering his hand to Nate mother.

They both walked out the room and I just kept looking at Nate. He opened another beer and waited for me to talk.

"Will you marry me?" He said again just looking at me.

"This is my last time asking too." He said before taking a drink of his beer.

"Yeah, I'll marry you ass." I said crossing my arms.

"Good, not explain to me why are you mad about me kissing Rose. You and Xavier had a whole bed room to fuck around." He said moving off of his bed.

"Please, I liked the power he gave me and it did get a little hot but, no to Xavier." I said as he walked to me.

"Yeah same for me." Nate said pushing me over in the bed.

He fell next to me wrapping his arm around my neck and reaching over. I sat my head on his chest and hugged him tightly. His hand stopped in front of my face showing me a ring with a purple diamond in it. I sat up quickly hitting him under his chin and he fell back holding it.

"Oh I'm sorry, but damn." I said grabbing the ring from him.

"Fuck Cas." He said grabbing the ring from me and I moved his hand.

I looked at his chin and it as fine just a little red now but he was going to be okay. He grabbed my hand and I waited for him to put the ring on.

"I don't even know if I want to marry you now." He said making me roll my eyes.

"Nate." I said and he smiled.

He slipped the ring on my finger and I smiled looking down at it as Nate put his beer under his chin. I stopped when I felt movement in my stomach and I looked at Nate. I grabbed his hand and placed it on my stomach and when they moved again he smiled at me.
