Kidnapped By Stampy

Beach Day

Amy's POV

I saw Squid staring at me while Sqaishey and I were laughing, but I didn't want to embarrass him, so I pretended to be distracted. I have had a little bit of a crush on him ever since we all moved in together around four years ago. He was dating this girl named Nicole for a while at the start, but they broke up last year because she was cheating on him with someone. He was heartbroken, and I tried to comfort him, so we became much closer.

We head out to the beach, and for the entire walk down, I stay behind, staring at Squid laughing with Stamps. Sqaishey is also up there, joking with them, but she falls back and walks next to me.

"Hey Amy. What's up?" I just keep staring at Squid until she pokes my arm. I jerk back to reality and look her in the eyes confused. "I said what's up?" She starts giggling.

"Oh, I'm sorry Sqaish. I'm, just distracted by. . . " Would she laugh at me if I told her the truth? I mean, I did get her to admitting that she likes Stamps, and I bet by now its obvious I like Squid, but I have only known her for around two weeks. She giggles again and whisper sings,

"Amy and Squid, sitting in a tree. K-I-S-S-I-N-G." I shove her lightly and blush. We finally get to the beach, and I start combing the beach for trash.

Sqaishey's POV

I sit down under the umbrella, and on my beach towel. Stampy goes straight into the ocean and starts splashing around. At one point, he turns towards me, and waves at me. I wave back, just a giant wave comes up behind him and pulls him down. I start cracking up, and when he pops his head back out, he starts walking briskly towards the towels where I am sitting.

He picks me up, bridal style and starts carrying me towards the ocean, with the waves becoming more violent by the second. I start thrashing around, trying to get out of his arms, but he just laughs.

"Stampy! Put me down." I yell at him. He doesn't understand why I don't want to go in.

"Come on, your a duck. Your supposed to swim." he said still laughing. He wades into an area above his waist, and he still refuses to put me down. He starts swinging me around and then, he lets go. As I am falling into the water, I scream at the top of my lungs,

"I can't swim!" Then, my vision gets blurred by the salt water, and the liquid goes down my throat as I scream. I feel arms wrap around me as I start to black out. Then, I am gone.

Stampy's POV

I drag Sqaishey back to the towels as fast as I can, catching the attention of a worried Squid and Amy. They came rushing over to us, just as I was trying to get her to wake up. I finally, remember my mandatory training as a life guard when I worked at the recreation center for a summer. I gave her mouth to mouth, tasting the salt on her lips while trying to save her life.
Squid and Amy watch as I repeat the process, still not knowing we have confessed our feelings. Even though the girl I love could die at any moment, I was enjoying every moment that our lips touched.
Eventually, after three minutes of CPR, and almost giving up hope, she coughed up a bunch of water, and her eyes opened slowly. She looks around, before her eyes found on me, and she pulls me into a hug, almost as a way of saying thank you. Being the sneaky cat that I am, I push her away slightly, and then pull her in for a long, drawn out kiss. It was my way of saying "your welcome".
We pull away and stare at each other. The kiss was much better than touching her cold, lips while trying to save her. Now, she was full of life, and gentle.

Sqaishey's POV
"Sqaishey, why didn't you tell me you couldn't swim earlier?" He asked me. I remember what happened clearly, from the moment he pulled me into the water to the moment I woke up. He saved me, but he was also the person to endanger me. It feels similar to how he kidnapped me.
"Well, when would I have? I only been living with you guys for less than a month." I shiver as I'm talking, and Stampy offers me his dry shirt from earlier. I take it, and put it on, hiding my legs in it seeing as it is way to big for me. Squid and Amy, who were standing there awkwardly, finally spoke up.
"Hey guys, how about the nugget here and I go get some food from the diner around the corner? We can get some for all of us and bring it back here." I saw Amy wink when she said it, but I was too cold to care. I nodded my head and they headed off.
"I'm still really sorry Sqaishey. I wish I had known, and I just wis. . . " I cut him off by hugging him again. He had kissed me a while ago, after saving my life, and I feel like we are both to nervous to continue our relationship. I decide to be brave, especially now that I sold my old apartment.
"Stampy?" I say, pulling away from the hug. He nods slowly, still looking guilty. "Will you go out with me?" I say smirking. I see his eyes go wide, and I stare into them, silently pleading he will say yes.
"Aww, come on Sqaishey." He said, looking at me serious, almost mad. He started to speak again, but as he started, a smile replaced his frown. "The man is supposed to ask that. You can't make me look bad Ducky." He whined, pouting.
"Fine. If you think you can do better."
"Sqaishey, I have really enjoyed your company, and your amazing personality. . . " He takes my hand, and looks deep into my eyes. I see in my peripheral vision, that Squid and Amy are coming back with food. I just let it happen. "Would you please do me the honors of going out on a date with me?" With that, he kisses my hand and sets it down on my lap. He turns around, to hear clapping from behind him, and then laughing. I join in with the laughter, as he discovers it's our housemates watching the spectacle. He just turns back to me, and kisses me lovingly on the cheek, before standing up and stretching.
"Hey guys, do you want to head back to the house? It's getting quite cold and dark." We all agree, and start packing up the stuff, with Squid shivering.
"Hey Squid Nugget, I bet you wish you brought a shirt now, don't you?" I say pointing at his bare chest, giggling. I hear Amy mumble, but I can't make out what she is saying.
We head back to the house, get into our warm pajamas, and settle down to watch a movie.
