Squid's POV
After Amy and I drink our tea, I go back upstairs, and find myself wandering to Sqaishey's room. When I walk in, I see her sitting on her bed browsing Twitter, but she puts down her phone once she sees me. It looks like she has been crying, but I don't want to bring that up and make her more upset. I'm not sure why I came in here, but I guess I could apologize now that I'm here.
"What do you want Squid?" she snapped, leaning forwards, but then recoiling and folding her arms. "I don't want you anywhere near me, especially not in my room."
"Sqaishey, I'm really sorry. I didn't know what to do when I walked in, and I wrapped my arms around you in my sleep. It really was an accident." The best accident that has ever happened to me. As I stare at her pouting face, a small gleam of hope that I am still a decent person appearing in her eyes, it's too much for me to handle. She seemed to believe me and stood up to pull me into a hug. Her warm embrace was magical, and I wouldn't let her go, even after I felt her pulling against me.
Eventually I couldn't help myself, and I kissed her on the forehead.
"Squid! Let go of me right now!" She screamed, but I was too enticed by her beauty and her silky soft skin against my lips. She started to hit my shoulders and back with her hands, but it just felt like a pat on the back.
Eventually, I moved the kiss down to the bridge of her nose, not caring about her wishes. Finally, I reached her smooth lips, and pushed them apart with mine. I felt her bite my lip, but I didn't care, not even when I tasted blood. Finally, she stopped fighting, and I felt her kissing me back. Her hands stopped hitting my back, and instead were tousling through my golden hair. I finally pulled back, and released her from the hug that we were still in, but she tried to lean in again, kissing my chin.
Finally, she pulled back too, and I looked into her glowing blue eyes, and saw pain. Her lip quivered as she lifted up her hand, and slapped me across the face. The sound of the impact was loud, and echoed through the house, causing Amy to burst through the door in less than a minute.
"What is going on in here?" Amy asked, before looking over at me and reaching up to touch the red mark on my face.
Amy's POV
As I am lightly caressing the splotchy spot on Squid's face, I see Sqaishey start to head towards the door to the hallway.
"Sqaishey? What happened?" I look at her, and she hesitantly turns back towards the room. She looks flustered, and tears have started streaming down her face.
"I don't want to talk about it. It will make everyone upset to hear it." While she said that, I saw she glanced over at Squid. She tried to leave again, but I grabbed her wrist and held her back from the door, but I quickly let go when I saw her stare at my hand with wide eyes and burst into full out tears. "This is your fault Squid! If you could have just left me alone. . . " Her eyes fall to the ground, and she collapses onto the carpet. I look at Squid, but he just stays quiet, looking at Sqaishey with squinted eyes. I look at him with raised eyebrows in hope for an explanation, and to my surprise, he does.
"She's just a little brat who can't appreciate me trying to help her." He says it calmly, even when I grab his hand, his expression stays the same. Before when I would take his hand in mine, he would smile, no matter how upset.
"I hate you!" Sqaishey screamed before getting up and running out of the room. I let her go, because I don't know why she reacted that way when I caught her last time.
Sqaishey's POV
As I run down the hallway and out of the house, I think to myself. Why did I freak out when Amy grabbed my arm? I think about it as I run and run, but soon, I have no more energy to run. I look around at my surroundings, hoping I know where I am, but no such luck. When running around blindly, it is hard to keep to where you know. I am in a park, but not the park by the house, so I find a park bench and sit on it, hoping to distract myself until tomorrow.
The sun is already going down, and it is a nice night out, so I just curl up in a ball on the bench and sleep.
Squid's POV
Amy went out to look for Sqaishey three hours ago, and she still has not returned. It is dark out, and I'm worried about Sqaishey. I said awful things about her, but it's true. I had to force her into a kiss before she gave up on trying to keep me away. When she freaked out with Amy, I think it might have been because of me. This whole thing is because of me being an idiot. I should have taken her to a hospital last night instead of putting her in her bed. Then none of this would have ever happened. . . But then I wouldn't know my feelings for her.
Hey Guys! This chapter was a bit shorter, but I really wanted to update.
