The New Girl

Law sighed as he looked at the clock, it was time for last period..in other words music class once again just like it has been for the entire school year..

The one class he absolutely hated above everything else.

Law actually adored music, it was his way to express emotions he just couldn't dissect and break down like he would his homework, and he was pretty damn good at it too, but with the school bully stealing all his and Luffy's hard earned projects and then making them his own, twisting them and tangling the cords into a painful song that made his heart ache to hear, listening to a monster originally from his own flesh and blood...

The medical student was failing....AND HARD.

He finally arrived to the room and warmly smiled taking a seat next to his longtime best friend, and also known as the whole school's ultimate popular kid, Monkey D. Luffy.

"Hey Torao..." Luffy's infamous smile was getting smaller ever since the bulling started last year, even though Law didn't like it one bit, there wasn't anything he could do without risking a pummeling, he knew it was cowardly, but standing up for themselves was just plain stupidity.

Yes, the two always tried their best to make him leave them alone, but not only did he always kick their asses at fights, but his right hand man Killer was always there to help Kidd out of their clever mind games and trickery.

Then the mentioned redhead just strolled into the room and viciously grinned at the two as they slightly cowered back when he eagerly approached for their daily mocking.

"Hey wimps, thanks for the 'inspiration' I think me an' Killer will be getting another A+" the bully chimed.

Luffy childishly gave the chuckling redhead a big raspberry as Law sneakily tossed him the middle finger as he passed by to his seat in the very corner next to the windows.

Just then, Mister Brook walked in with his usual yodel, except this time he had a calm looking teenage (H/C)-ette strolling behind his every step.

Law looked from under his hat and shyly blushed as he scanned her features, (E/C) sparkling eyes, (H/L) (H/C) silky hair and a cute average frame to boot.

You were simply adorable unlike all the mean, fake and slutty females infesting the school like greasy cockroaches, sliding under every crack and crevice, sneaking everywhere to steal information that isn't for them, hungrily scavenging for popularity and foresaking themselves along the way, there was no honor or dignity amongst them, just backstabbing and greed.

"YOHOHOHO! Ah, now everyone, please meet (Y/N)-san, starting today she will be your new classmate, so treat her like nakama okay?"

You gave the class a short polite bow as you scanned through them with an almost stony expression, the females thinned their lips and narrowed their eyes at you with unfriendly sneers on their features as they mummered and scoffed amongst themselves, then the boys either merely stared with disgusting grins or made lewd and cocky comments under their breaths.

To tell the truth, you were only here because your friends wanted you to have a 'normal' education like all the other kids in this crappy town.

Though looking at this crowd, all these people lost themselves and their kindness to their chosen paths long ago...

But your eyes caught the two boys sitting together in the near back and you inwardly smiled in slight relief, their eyes were very pure and friendly, yet they were troubled, no doubt caused from one of these sickening creeps.

Thank god the darkness in humanity's heart hasn't swallowed up everyone from the new generation, at least there was still hope of a good future for this race.
