Following Madness

Kidd bit his lip and furrowed his invisible brows in his mental dilemma, he had finally found out about his massive crush on Law, after...almost, civilly talking to Killer about it, it was more like screaming though, that much was clear.

Of course, the blonde was not happy about the discovery, his best friend fell in love with the enemy, their target, their wimp! A freaking sadist, trickster!

That's never good!

Killer already vowed to himself to do everything he could to keep Kidd away from the creepy weirdo in hopes of stopping his developing feelings, but that was much easier said than done.

Currently, they were closely trailing them from behind to potentially find out where all this new behavior and unexplainable incidents were coming from, no doubt the new girl was involved.

But unfortunately, they were just too far behind to hear the conversation, but...whatshername yelled out something that the two could hear crystal clear, "Dude, Kidd's definitely into you!!!" The redhead flushed a huge crimson at the words, did..did Law possibly feel the same?

But Killer's reaction was a huge groan instead, 'THAT'S JUST GREAT! THE DERANGED MEDICAL STUDENT LIKES HIM BACK!!' He bitterly thought in spite.

"K-Killer, do...do you think he likes me back?" The blond cringed at his best friend's hopeful tone, he looked like a highschool girl with those small stars in his eyes and it was sickening to see him like this.

"Kidd, get ahold of yourself! He's a freaky nerd! Remember!? What about that time he drugged you and you couldn't eat right for three freakin-aww who am I kidding!?" Yep, love was way too powerful for him to counterattack.

Welp, he just hoped that neither of the two would ever work up the nerve to out themselves to the other...yeah..that's not gonna happen.

But then as both the bully's minds befame clear, a chill went down their backs as they noticed where the dorky trio were exactly heading, the. mother. fucking. god. damned. forest.

Kidd was terrified of that place and Killer was traumatized to say the least, once the two ventured in there at the dead of night, and were attacked by some shadowy bears with glowing eyes, if it wasn't for that pipe Killer found so conveniently left laying around..they wouldn't have made it.

It was the most bone chilling encounter they ever had.

But the redhead wasn't going to wuss out now, he forcefully dragged the fear stricken teen behind him as they silently crept from behind, he was sick of not knowing, and he was getting his answer now.

Once in the forest, a familiar fog thickened and covered the entire forest floor as they tried their best to silently tag along without stepping on the many bones littered around the forest floor and tree roots.

Suddenly, the group stopped in the center of the forest and the two quickly ducked into the nearby bushes out of fast reflexes and pure instinct, but to even make it weirder, a soft glow started to form in front of Strawhat's face, and to the bully's utter horror, two clawed and fanged creatures popped out.

Kidd felt his heart stop at the oh too familiar sight of green and yellow glowing, slitted eyes, those were no bears that attacked them that time.

Killer blinked in disbelief and felt his own fear permeate the air, standing in front of the nerds were two..cat..dog...people?

One had green fur/hair and a long striped tail with striped cheeks and arms, while the other one was blond furred/haired with black spots on their cheeks and arms.

After a small chat with the nerds, the two gave small petrifying sharp toothed smiles as they swiftly vanished into the deep of the thicket, leaving behind only bad memories, but unlike the hidden duo, you and the other two weren't disturbed at all as you happily continued deeper.

Feeling dread and unease drift through him, Kidd forced himself to continue dispite his growing doubt, but soon noticed how Killer stood rigid like a statue on the spot.

"Killer! Come on we're going to lose em!" The brute hissed.

He reached out for the blonde's narrow arm but he seemed to brake out of a trance and quickly backed up in a panic and fell over, making Kidd flinch back in suprise.

"N-No way, you're i-insane! T-that's it! I've had enough of all this craziness!! Those three a-are dangerous!! I-I'm outta here and if you're smart you'll leave too!!" Before the redhead could even reason with him, Killer quickly disappeared into the fog and ran off for his life.

The blond was now forever scarred.

A small part of Kidd wanted to turn back and follow Killer, comfort him and agree with him on ending all this madness, avoiding this place and those three like the black plague and continue on with his life of hatred and aggression...

But...

He just couldn't deny that scent of adventure and intrigue in the air, this was the beginning of something amazing, something that could change everything, no, it was more than that, Kidd knew he had him, that charming, sly raven had him in his grip and was squeezing every once of reason and sanity that he had left, the redhead was going insane because of him.

But the bully knew he would regret it for the rest of his life if he turned back now, if he looked away from this one time chance and fled into a world of safety and easiness, he'd never be able to stare himself down in a mirror again.

So ignoring the warning he was given...

Kidd adventured deeper...

Into the darkness of the forest following your faint sounds of mirth and joy...

And against all sanity, he continued to follow your trail of madness.

You giggled at Luffy's face as he gaped at the new information, and then he just stared at Law with a disappointed and horrified look on his face, okay, maybe you didn't need to explain how males went at it buuut, it was too late to regret crap now!

"LAW! Why didn't you ever tell me!?" The raven only blushed as he twiddled his fingers, "yeah Captain, why didn't you tell us!?" Sachi yelled from inside his bag.

"Well Luffy-ya you're always saying how you really want to punch him in the face and cause damage to him, and..wait..YOU THREE FLIPPING ATTACKED HIM!!"

"To defend you!" Bepo weakly countered.

You hummed in satisfaction of the conversation as you finally made it to the field of flowers, "Girls, girls you're all right okay? Now, can we start talking about some smokey zolu here?"

Law knelt down and unzipped his bag before smirking as the three jumped out and shifted from tiny bunnies into their preferred forms (salamander, bear and falcon).

Luffy innocently tilted his head, "what's zolu?"

You gave him a sly grin as you nonchalantly slung your arm around his shoulder, and made sure you spoke loud and clear, "Zoro's little crush on youuu, that's what~"

You noticed how a horrified blush took over his face, but when you were about to bring it into even more detail, someone nervously and almost fearfully cleared their throat from behind you with a gravelly tone.

You looked over and everything slowed down as you paled into the shade of a ghost.

Kidd was standing right there.
