Zoro blushed as Luffy continued to stick to his side.
"LUFFY YOU GOTTA GO HOME! SABO'S GONNA WORRY!!" The greenie kept attempting to shove him off, but to no avail the teen didn't budge.
The younger boy growled out and clutched onto his waist harder, "NOO!! I TOLD SABO I WAS GONNA BE GONE SO IT'S FINE!! I WANNA STAY!!"
After a few more tugs Zoro eventually gave up and layed down on a branch to get his mind off things.
They were currently in the biggest tree in the whole forest, the very same tree he and the crappy leopard lived in for as long as he could remember.
"Do you really wanna stay with me that much? God you're annoying" The teen pouted down at the half asleep feline and did the first thing that popped into his head.
He bent down and kissed Zoro full on the lips.
With a muffled shriek of suprise Zoro freaked and bolted upwards.
This ended up with Luffy falling off of the tree (they are in the high branches) and crashed into almost every other branch on the way down.
Once he finally landed into the bone littered cold dirt Luffy felt pain rack his whole body, most of the branches hit his gut and the others mostly his head.
Feeling shock overcome his thoughts he felt uncontrollable tears starting to brim in his eyes.
Not from the fact that he just fell out of a thirty five foot tree, oh no he was used to that, but from the fact that Zoro was the one who shoved him off.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The greenie watched in absolute horror as his beloved crush continued to fall down and be slammed around like a rag doll.
In responce, he raced through the branches to try and beat him to the last branch in order to catch him, but the raven slipped out of his grasp and landed on the ground with a sickening thump.
All the dread shut his body down from the inside as he was incapable of moving a single cell.
Finally after what seemed like a century, Luffy clumsily got back onto his feet and looked away from Zoro's direction.
With a teary face, the younger felt the emotional hurt rip him from the inside as he begun to tremble, with a soft whisper that was almost lost to the wind, it caught the tiger's sensitive hearing, "I'm sorry" and with that, Luffy bolted out of there and cried his way through the woods.
Zoro felt his insides churn hearing his hurt sobs echo through the brambles and immediately gave chase.
But as they got deeper and deeper into the forest, Luffy's cries grew more distant until the feline was to the point of using his instincts to find his wayward...lover? No he couldn't call him that yet.
His friend? No they were closer than that...or they just used to be, but in this very night, he might have accidentally changed that altogether forever.
Finally, Zoro caught the sound of a soft cry and froze in his tracks, he strained his ears as much as he possibly could and heard him.
Following the sounds at his top speed, Zoro broke into a grassy clearing and completely withered at the sight.
The young teen was crouching at the top of a small cliff in front of a clear lake, crying his entire heart out, surrounding him were many nymphs, pixies and fairies of the forest who he easily befriended from his charm, and they all adored him, he pouted as he noticed they were trying their best to cheer him up.
"Luffy-chin it's okay, I bet he didn't mean it, you just probably startled him, Zoro-chin isn't a very bad person" Camie the river fairy soothed with a smile.
Vivi the sand nymph questionably hummed at the statement, "well, he can be pretty harsh when you annoy him enough.." that made Luffy start to wail even louder as Zoro's words echoed through his mind, 'god you're annoying'
That's when one passion pixie by the name of Viola clutched him hard into her chest when she noticed the neko standing the field, and covered his ears, "How dare you do this to him" she hissed.
The other girls became agitated and bombarded the greenette with harsh words, "yeah! Stay away from him!" "Go away!" "Get out of here you fucking bastard!"
Zoro pouted as his ears drooped in guilt at the younger's muffled tear stained face as the women continued to make sure Luffy couldn't see or hear him.
"Please, let me talk to hi-" "I think you've done enough"
The girls then proceeded into trying to forcefully drag him out of there, but Zoro fought back against them tooth and nail.
"PLEASE...PLEASE! I NEED TO SEE HIM....I'M SORRY FOR WHAT I DID! I NEED TO APOLOGIZE TO HIM...PLEASE! PLEASE I LOVE HIM!!"
At the last outburst, the females stopped in hesitation and reluctantly backed away from him with unhappy frowns on their pretty faces.
"*Sigh* ..if that's the case Roronoa, then we can't stop you, BUT if you hurt him anymore than you have already we will not be pleased with you"
And with that the ladies disappeared leaving Luffy all alone with his tears,"Luffy..." the boy stiffened at his voice and curled up into a ball, "what do you want?" He childishly mumbled.
"I'm so sorry Luffy...I have no excuse for the mistake I made"
The boy shook his head and frowned down at the waters below, "no, I should have never startled you like that" he sighed.
"I shouldn't have reacted like that, it was reckless and stupid" Zoro countered as the tiger slowly approached him.
"It wouldn't have happened if I wasn't annoying" Luffy felt himself go cold at the word and felt his tears starting to return, but before he could even release a single tear again, Zoro lifted up the raven's chin and immediately slammed their lips together.
When they finally parted, Zoro's emerald eyes stared into Luffy's soul, filled with love and regret as he carefully wrapped his arms around the boy's waist, "I fucking love you Luffy, I'm sorry"
No more words were shared that night, but instead the two finally showed their adoration and care for one another in the most tender and loving way possible.
End of flashback~
