Kidd was never this excited in his entire life, okay maybe there was a little white lie in there, this was one of the most exciting moments of his life, he couldn't really compare this moment to that when he punched his dad, that was pretty invigorating too.

Though he didn't understand why Law and Luffy seemed to be more scared than excited like him, I mean, who wouldn't be excited about flaming fire birds of DEATH!? That had to be every guy's fantasy! Other than hot chicks...but that didn't really apply to him though.

The neko's and three shapeshifters already got spooked and ran off back to the small cottage to 'hide' from the possible consequences, whatever the hell that meant.

But the redhead was so stoaked you could see the enlivened atmosphere surrounding him just whisp around like flames.

How ironic..

"What's with you two? We're gonna see some awesome shit, and you're afraid!?" Kidd wrapped Law around his arms and spun the medical student around like a ballerina making Luffy feel slightly more amused about the situation.

"K-Kidd-ya, you're still new to all of this so I don't blame you, but (Y/N)-ya's trips can sometimes be a bit...life threatening" he mumbled.

The former bully gave Law an unimpressed look and ran to your side, making you giggle a bit at his childlike behavior.

"Yeah Kidd?" You hummed, the redhead huffed out of his nose like a grumpy bull as you walked over a log across the stream towards where the brick wall hid.

After helping Law across the small creek before the redhead caught up to you again, and without stumbling on the many scattered bones and roots he gave you a playful grin, "exactly how many life threatening situations have you gotten them into?"

Oh here we go.

"Well, there was that time I took them to that jungle guarded by that living stone statue of a nemian lion- it was really hot there now that you mention it, went back in time for fun but ended up fighting dragons, wyverns and dinosaurs- don't even ask, hunting that banshee who was haunting a creepy bayou in New Orleans- scariest shit I've been through for awhile...I can keep going if ya want"

Although you were expecting a befuddled or even slightly frightened expression on his face, your eyes widened in suprise seeing the stars shining in his eyes.

"ARE YOU SHITTING ME!? THAT SOUNDS AWESOME!!!"

Kidd started to jump up and down in excitement until you finally made it.

Mt. Schneider was standing tall and proud, almost as if it was completely aware of how significant it was to the world, and filled with such energy, oh yes this WILL be awesome.

Luffy noticed how the closer he got to the mountain the darker the atmosphere became, and shivered getting the cold and dark feeling that things were gonna go wrong.

Finally, you were standing face to face with the amazing, the magical, the one and only, brick wall, and you didn't even hesitate to see if they were ready, like you were gonna stop anyway, "Ready to meet them? I think Luffy's gonna like this trip the most though" you mumbled the last part but Law heard you giving you a curious glance from the side.

"OKAY, FORMATION EVERYONE!!"

Luffy instantly gripped ahold of Kidd's left hand as you grabbed his right and Law's left, yes, you were all holding hands, get over it!

A small question mark hovered above Kidd's head as he felt you all getting into a position to run...but there was nothing ahead???

Suddenly the three of you dragged him into a quick rush forward, as you sped closer and closer to the wall, then Kidd had a pretty good idea of what you were up to and totally panicked, "W-WAIT GUYS YOUR GONNA KILL US WHAT THE FRIGGING HEeEEEEeEEEEEeEEEEeEEEeEEEeEEEeLlLLllLL-!?!?!?!"

The three of you laughed as the redhead screamed before melting through the wall along with the rest of you.

Inside the wall you were swirling faster and faster through a sparkly vortex that was a mixed color of intense and fiery reds with oranges paired along with soft blues and turquoises.

"TIME TO GO TO THE PHOENIX'S NEST!" You yelled over the other's screaming (and in Luffy's case giggling) as everything started to fade into a bright white.

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Law groaned as he felt someone shaking his shoulder.

"Mmnnnn, go away" he sleepily grumbled and felt his hand hit someone's face, but he only continued to doze as his hand slipped upwards until it finally got into the instigator's hair, then, the familiar feeling of long untamed hair between his fingers finally brought him back to reality, with a start he opened his eyes and sat up with a jerk.

Kidd excitedly smiled down at him and lifted the raven onto his back and began running, "Law! About time you woke up! You gotta come check this out!"

The yet-to-be doctor sighed at his energy and smiled contentedly wrapping his arms around his boyfriend's neck.

As they ran through the unfamiliar tunnel, Law blinked as all traces of sleep finally began to leave him, "what happened after everything went crazy and swirly?..Like drugs??" He groggily mumbled with a yawn.

Kidd laughed as if he remembered something funny, and spoke over the soft splash and crumbling sounds of the cave.

"After everything went white, I woke up here with everyone else, including you, (Y/N) though was the first one up, and after Luffy woke up she asked me to watch over you before she and him went to go 'introduce' us to her friends"

Law hummed in understanding as the end of the tunnel was finally revealed up ahead, "hey, wanna come over to my place later today?"

The former bully happily nodded with a small blush before he leaped through the bright hole with a loud cackle of mischief, oh lord could this day get any better?

But they swiftly halted to a stop and stood there with their mouths gaping open, although it wasn't long for Kidd to get over his shock and start freaking out, but Law remained motionless.

Standing before them with Luffy and (Y/N) were two enormous, elegant phoenix's.

You turned around just in time to see the ever so shocked Law and the excited Kidd with a small smile, "Hey you two, meet my friends the phoenix's Marco, and Ace!"
