While I'm riding a jeepney going Bambang, an old man joined us.

He's not that old,maybe he's between 60s to 70s.

What pierced my heart is the way he looks.

He's not untidy,

but as I look into his cloths and shoes, I was moved to pity.

He's wearing a white t-shirt, larger than his size, with bacon collar extending from the lateral end of the  her shoulder blade to the other;

a lacerated undergarment;

a belt, almost torn. From the original site  where it is hooked, there are visible tears;

pants with minimal rips scattered on the distal part, and almost a foot wider than his waist;

and mangled shoes with holes, it's almost breaking apart.

He'r carryying a black bag, quite larger than a short envelope.

He got down at the back of FEU.

I want to follow him and give him something but i don't want him to get me wrong.

He's face does not look like those of the beggar, but i really want to give him even just a li'l amount.

He reminds me of my grandfathers.

Since there's nothing I can do to help him, I just prayed that someone will.

Lord, I lift him up to you.

Bless him Lord that he may have a better life.

Help him and his family, if he have.

I hope that the government will do something that will ensure it's people a good elderly life.

Elders should not be working anymore.

They've already spent their youth working,

They should spend the rest of their life relaxing, or at least a life free from burdens and worries on what will they have for their daily living.

Lord, grant that elders be prioritized by the government and that their present situation be better.
