Harley-
For I think the 15th time I had ran and got Gerard another cup of coffee. "Thanks." Gerard said when I handed him his coffee. He quickly went back to signings, talking to and taking pictures with fans while I went back to the cash register and dealt with the people who wanted to buy merchandise.
As soon as they started letting people in is when things got real busy. Before doors opened we talked about super heroes and video games. "Harley, can you get me another coffee please?" Gerard asked. Already? He wasn't kidding when he said he was obsessed with this drink!
I took the empty cup and ran over to the food court. The cashier smiled at me and playfully rolled her eyes. "Back so soon?" She asked. "Heh, yeah. Gerard loves his coffee!" I said, handing her the cup to refill. "That he does, hun." She responded.
She refilled the cup and I handed her the right amount of money and taking notice to my now empty wallet. "Thanks, Natalie." I thanked her. She nodded and I ran back to the booth. "Psst! Gerard, try to make this one last.
I'm out of cash so I can't buy you another refill." I whispered. He nearly spat his coffee out at this. He looked at me with a worried look. "Wait a minute, you've been paying for my refills this entire time?! I thought they were free!" He blurts out.
I just shrug and go back to the register. "I-I'm so sorry! God, you must have gone and got me coffee like 100 times! I'm sorry... How much do I owe you?" He asked. I shook my head. "Dude, it's fine." I said. "Uh, no it's not! I'm paying you back every penny I owe you."
Gerard argued, getting out his wallet. I rolled my eyes and smiled. "Gerard I don't even know the right amount, plus I really don't care. It's fine, really." I reassured him. He sighed and nodded and put his wallet away. "Alright, if you insist. But I will repay you another way. Heh heh, way." He said, laughing at his own pun.
I giggled and shook my head. "Dork." I say, nudging his arm lightly. He looks at me and smiles. "Like you're one to talk." He said rolling his eyes and nudging me back. Well, he's right. I'm a dork too. More of a nerd really. I told him about my obsession with comic books and DnD.
"Tell you what, since we're just about to close, why don't I just make it up to you and take you out for coffee? My treat." Gerard offered. Holy shit, did Gerard Way just invite me out for coffee?! Oh my god oh my god oh my god! I think I just died!
Gerard started laughing to himself. I looked at him with a confused look. "What?" I asked. He just shook his head. "Ah nothing. So, is that a yes?" He replied/asked. I took a deep breath to calm down so I wouldn't fan girl. "U-u-uh, s-sure." Smooth, Harley! You didn't fan girl but you managed to stutter like an idiot.
Gerard smiled warmly at me. I looked into his eyes for a moment and mine went wide for a second. There it is again. His eyes flashed red for a second! Just like they did earlier! What does that mean though? Does his eyes always do that?
Author's note!!! Sorry I've taken so long to update! And sorry for a short update. I was being lazy. I'll try to have the next chapter longer. No promises though.
