"Fight harder Alamir!"

Fifteen years had past and now Alamir gritted his teeth as Raja came at him with her dual swords. One of them was the color of jade on the hilt and the other sapphire. He returned a blow to both as she tried to attack him vertically with them. They spun in her hands but never failed to shake the grip of their master.

"Alamir, you are an insignificant bug you know that?"

"Just stop with the taunts will ya?" He snapped as he dodged an attack and rolled behind her to put his sword to her throat. Suddenly she was gone with a shimmer of angel dust and now put him in the same position as she was a second ago.

She chuckled lightly. "Alamir, do not think you can kill a Sanke clan member of my skill; I was only using a fraction of my power." She says as he curses in reply.

'Damn it. Why couldn't I get stronger? How can I protect Deisara when I'm so weak?' Alamir thought. Raja folded her jade wings and Alamir began to replicate the action, folding his red ones, but she held her hand up as if to stop him.

"Go and care for Deisara, your time in heaven's gates is up for now." She said, and he acknowledged her with a nod and began to fly down to earth.

He went to her school and flew above it constantly, thinking of ways to kill Raja, well, not kill her, just win a sparring. Alamir was too enthralled in his thoughts to notice a man in black crawl out of the ground and make his way into the school.

"Go to hell, bitch!" Deisara exclaimed, slamming the door to the teacher's room, startling the row of kids coming out behind her. Tessela flanked her side, chuckling all the while. Deisara looked and stared at her friend, deciding whether or not to bite her head off. Her blond bangs dangled in front of her green eyes as she peered, skeptical, at her as if she was insane. "What? You got a problem with me too?" Deisara asks her and she laughs, her calf-long blond pigtails shaking.

"No...but why did you have to get detention? Again?" She asked in a teasing tone. Deisara stuck her tongue out at her.

"She gave me an F for the semester! And I have done all my homework completely correct! She can go jump off a ledge!" Deisara says, grabbing her bag out of her locker and heading towards the school door to escape her hell.

"Well, at least now you can fail tomorrow's test too," Tessela said.

"Thank you very much for the consideration and pep talk!" She said, pushing the school's main door open. Tessela smiles at Deisara, then looks in front of them.

"Your wel-" She stops mid-stride as Deisara sees a man in a black suit and black hair stare at them both.

He smiled, revealing fangs, and wagged his finger at Tessela. Tessela's eyes dilated to where they were just black orbs with tiny slits of white around the edges.

"Tessela?" Deisara whispered as she began to walk towards the man. Her body obeyed but her eyes screamed for help."Tessela! No!" Deisara tried to stop her but failed as she became paralyzed. A piercing pain goes through her heart and she screams. She sees one of the man's eyes is now pure black and is focused on her.

Finally, Tessela reaches him and he smirks. He sets his lips to where they are inches apart from Tessela's and breathed in.

The sound of a bloodcurdling scream fills the air and Deisara breaks away from the demon's hold in his moment of distraction and lunges at him. He stopped her with just his hand as he continued to suck the life out of her best friend. She saw the color drain from Tessela's body. Her eyes glaze over as she went limp. Her rosy skin turns a chalky pale. He dropped her, and she crumpled to the ground, landing in a way where her gaze was directed to her. As if asking her "Why didn't you do anything to save me?!" "Was I not worthy enough to save?!"
