Autumn was already inside the palace, Athan let the others go out to help until she secured the door. Screaming and shouting are becoming more prominent.

Autumn was looking out the window with horrified face when Athan grabbed her hand, "C'mon." her voice was firm but the nervousness in here tone still detectable.

Athan had no problem running since she was wearing suede but Autumn had to toe off her beautifully hand made birthday heels before they could sprint upstairs. Through hall and passing many windows and doors, they finally reached a room. It was unlocked and Athan pulled her partner inside before closing it again.

Autumn watched in confusion when the taller one let go of her hand and went to the window at the other side. Athan opened it, letting the wind get inside. She grabbed what seems to a figurine of an old house stood next to the cream colored wall before extending her arm to Autumn.

Autumn didn't completely understand what they were going to do but Autumn trusted Athan nonetheless.

She grabbed her hand and stood next to Athan. The vampire whispered a spell then a door formed in the wall.

Athan gave her and assuring nod and smile before pulling her in with her. It was all black inside and gave them both the feeling that no one have been there before. "Where are we?" The brunette asked as Athan's fore finger lit up.

She shrugged, "A hiding place that only I know of."

Athan was afraid if she ever told anyone, it could reach a traitor and the place would be completely useless. Even her mom she couldn't trust with the safety of her beloved.

"Here," Athan presented the house to Autumn slowly guiding her hand. "try to put your finger through the front door, that way you can go inside."

"What?" Autumn was baffled.

"Go on love, I'll be right behind you." Athan caressed her back when she let go of her hand still with a tender smile.

Autumn nodded, now fully confident of what Athan was asking her to do. She calculatedly pressed a finger on the door, causing it to open but wasn't big enough to fit the whole tip of her finger inside.

And as if she just blinked with a swirling feeling in her gut, she was inside. Autumn screamed, jumping next to the open door. When she turned around, almost tripping because Autumn lifted the house to her level, she almost had a heart attack. "ATHAN! OH LORD JESUS YOU'RE HUGE!"

She heard a chuckle from the green eyed girl who shook her head in amusement. "No love, you're just tiny." the house shook again because of the movement, Autumn losing balance. "Oops sorry. Hold on tight babe. I'll just put this none suspicious decorative figurine and be there in a gif."

Athan walked to a built in shelf and slipped the house a foot higher than her head next to an eyeglass and hundred year old mug, totally unsuspecting. She huffed, wishing internally there are enough deception for them to stay hidden.

It was very selfish for them to just runaway, well only her, Autumn really wanted to help. Specially when her family and people are being attacked because of her lover. But if worse comes to worse, she would come out to give a little hand and leave Autumn in the little house she prepared. Well, until the clock hits twelve, Autumn will be considered the strongest out of everyone. But until then, Athan would make sure her girl would face no harm.

"Athan?"

She heard Autumn call for her, as if they weren't together seconds ago. With a little chuckle, Athan repeated Autumn's action just moments prior and next thing she know, she was face to face with her soulmate again. Although the swirl in her tummy is awful, she's sure she could do something to prevent it from happening again next time.
