After classes had ended, Sung Gyu sat at his desk in the once again empty staffroom. He was scratching his head for an idea, any idea, he could find to be a song for Infinite during the School Festival. Right now, his brain felt like mush and the empty paper stared back at him in disappointment. He felt like letting out a frustrated scream right now. The little brat named Woo Hyun already made the melody and his part was done, so now the pressure was on his shoulders.

Just when he had his hands in his hair and was attempting to pull it out, a warm voice came by the door.

"Excuse me? Is anyone here?"

Sung Gyu turned to the direction of the voice and saw Lillian standing by the door with a curious gaze towards the hands in his hair. He quickly let go of his hair and stood up with a bow.

"Good afternoon Headmistress Lillian." Sung Gyu greeted.

"I don't think we have properly met before, have we?" Lillian said with a soft smile.

"I'm Kim Sung Gyu, history teacher." Sung Gyu introduced, bowing down. He missed the small twitch Lillian's eyes did. "And you are Headmistress Lillian, I assume."

"You assumed correct." Lillian smiled. "I was just looking for a teacher to help me organise the lost and found section. If you don't mine..."

"Not at all." Sung Gyu said. "I don't have anything important to do anyway." The boys will kill him if they heard this. But too bad they didn't.

Sung Gyu looked at the dark room covered by shadows and filled with dust bunnies and started to rethink his life choices. Mainly why he promised to help Lillian clean the lost and found instead of using his club as an excuse to get out of this.

The room was very narrow but deep with tall shelves on both sides filled to the rim with useless things he could not identify. Only an old light bulb hung at the back of the room, barely keeping light. But the point was they had to clean this up all by themselves. Suddenly Sung Gyu was thankful for the bathtub in his apartment.

Lillian shoved a broom and duster into his hands. "Let's get started, shall we?" Lillian took off her jacket and picked up a rag and a broom herself.

"Of course..." Sung Gyu's voice went small at the sight of heaps and heaps of things waiting for him to clean.

Lillian walked inside went her head held high and a smile on her face, which impressed Sung Gyu. She started by moving the stuff out to clean the shelves and wiped the dust and scoot away. Sung Gyu gave a sigh and started cleaning the taller part of the shelves since he's taller.

Sung Gyu made the mistake of inhaling and he coughed, sending the dust bunnies flying everywhere. The dust in the sir just made him sneeze again and again, the neverending cycle of sneeze and coughing and sneezing. Lillian just managed to duck it in time and giggled at the sight.

"Go clean the things outside, it'll make you feel better." Lillian suggested.

Sung Gyu didn't hesitate to take her offer. He wiped a small stool clean and sat down, picking up what seems like a mask with colourful feathers and started cleaning it.

"Mr Kim?"

Sung Gyu turned in the direction of the voice and cursed the gods for letting these brats see him in this state. Hoya and Woo Hyun stood there each licking a popsicle as they stared him up and down. Hair filled with dust, dirty face, jacket off and sleeves rolled up to his elbows... Yeah, he doesn't look all that handsome anymore but he can live with it for now.

"Do they give you extra pay for this?" Hoya asked.

"No." Sung Gyu groaned.

"Well, they should, you look horrible." Woo Hyun commented. "Anyway, we'll see you-"

"Oh no ya don't." The two of them got trapped by Sung Gyu's grip on their collar. "You're helping me clean the hell hole out whether you like it or not."

Hoya and Woo Hyun sighed in unison, accepting their fate and grabbing a duster and mop nearby. Sung Gyu smirked in victory as his two students went into that hell they call 'lost and found'.

"Good afternoon Headmistress Lillian." They sighed.

"Good afternoon boys, did you come to help?" Lillian smiled. The two boys nodded depressingly. "Good, could one of you help me with the higher shelves. The other can mop the floors."

Hoya set off to dust the shelves while Woo Hyun mopped the floor and sulked. Sung Gyu sighed and took the mop from Woo Hyun.

"Stop making that face and go clean outside." Sung Gyu said. Woo Hyun blew him a kiss and sat down on the bench.

Sung Gyu flicked the kiss away and went on with his mopping. He moved to the other side of the shelf and squeezed himself in between the shelf and the wall. He dragged the mop in after him and tried to make it through the tight space.

Sung Gyu's eyes caught Lillian's peeking through the shelf. She gave a small giggle and he couldn't help but grin stupidly. His head bumped into the wall in his attempt to look at her and a howl of pain escaped his lips. She giggled again, going back to dust.

Sung Gyu smelt something that made him cover his nose and wrinkle his brow. "Did something die in here?"

Hoya, who was at the very back, walked out, a hand on his nose and the other holding something as far away from him as possible. "Make way, dead rat coming through." Hoya huffed, throwing the corpse of the animal out of the door and into the rubbish bag across the hall. Woo Hyun fell off the stool when the dead body flew over him and rushed over as far away from the bag as possible.

"Did you have to throw it?!" Woo Hyun screamed in shock.

"Well I didn't want to hold it any longer than I have to." Hoya retorted.

Sung Gyu and Lillian watched the two youngsters bicker not far behind, chuckling to each other. "Remember when we were their age?" Lillian smiled.

"No, not really, it was such a long time ago." Sung Gyu said sadly.

"I guess it is." Lillian chuckled. "Now back to work."

Sung Gyu groaned and threw his head back but ended up hitting his head again.

-

After a long day of hard work, Sung Gyu finally dragged his tired and dust-covered body to the staff room to collect his things. The piece of blank paper still sat on his desk, reminding him of his disappointment. His eyes light up at the sight of it and a light bulb went off in his head. He sat down by his desk, picked up a pen, turned on the melody Woo Hyun made and started writing.

The clock on the wall went silent along with any sound that reached Sung Gyu's ears as he poured his inspiration onto the paper. Before long, sleep started to get to him and his head fell down against the edge of his table. The pain woke him and all the sore muscles in his body up. He didn't realise how late it was until now.

"Is anyone here?" The familiar voice came from the door once again. "Oh Sung Gyu, you're still here." Lillian came into view and frowned upon the sight. "You could have just said you had something to do, I would have let you go."

Sung Gyu stood up, laughed, and did the unexpected. He hugged Lillian. Lillian's eyes widened at the sudden contact and blushed. He seemed oblivious to her embarrassment and kept on smilling.

"You're my muse." Sung Gyu said, gesturing to the paper.

"And may I know what I have inspired as your muse?" Lillian asked with an eyebrow raised and Sung Gyu just had to laugh at the irony.

"A song for the Infinite Club, called 'Lost and Found'."
