Tadashi and Kei had always gotten each other presents for Christmas, and it was an easy thing. This year, how ever, felt difficult for Tadashi. A few months ago, Kei had finally confessed and Tadashi in return, told him his own feelings. They had started dating, but now that they were, what was he meant to get Kei? What was something meanful and nice? He couldn't ask Kei, that'd be lame and stupid.

He spent ages thinking about it until the idea hit him. He had been running down the stairs when he had seen his mother knitting. It was always cold in winter, and Kei always had a cold neck. The idea clicked. He went over to her and sat down. With a deep breath, he blurted out,
"You need to teach me how to knit a scarf!"

A few weeks later and Tadashi was at Kei's house. They sat under a pile of blankets watching random Christmas films they found. Christmas was in a few days and they weren't going to see each other until after. They had gotten through two movies before Kei had to use the bathroom. While there, Tadashi moved to his bag to pull out the neatly wrapped present. He waited, a soft smile on his face which was accompanied by a blush. When the taller male walked in, Tadashi ran over to hug him, in which he got one back.
He then stood back and held out the present.
"Merry Christmas Tsukki!"

Kei took the present for a moment, then gave him a thankful nod. He placed his finger under the wrapping paper and moved it along to separate the tape from the edge. He carefully unwrapped it, scrunching up the paper and holding it under his armpit. Kei took the end of the scarf and let go of the rest as to reveal it. It was black and at the end was a moon in white.

"I hope you like it Tsukki! I got mum to show me how to knit a few weeks ago. It's not the best and it's a bit loose, clearly, but your neck is always cold so I made you a scarf!"

Kei just smiled at him. "I love it."

Kei went over to his desk, putting the scarf over his chair and the paper in the trash. He pulled at the draw and plucked out a not so neatly wrapped present, turning to hand it to his other half. Tadashi took it into his hands.

"Not a CD this time?" There was surprise in his voice as he rose an eyebrow.
He ripped apart the wrapping to reveal socks. Tadashi smiled brightly. There were a good five pairs there.

"Well, look through them," Kei mumbled

Tadashi did as told, each one getting better. They all had pictures of something he loves on there, ranging from Oddish to volleyball. Tadashi loved his socks.

"These will be my lucky Oddish socks!" Tadashi announced as he put them on over the socks he was wearing.
Both satisfied, they returned to the bed, continuing their marathon of Christmas movies.
