Chapter 5

{Tyler}

I was surprised to hear a loud sound coming up the stairs. It might be Zach chasing his girlfriend again. I wanted to go back to sleep but for some reason I couldn't the sound is still going on. It stopped so I decided to close my eyes. I then heard someone knock. I didn't want anybody in my room so I didn't answer. Then someone was fiddling with the doorknob. I faked my sleep even though I wanted to go back to it. Someone came in and I heard some sounds, I was getting scared. The person then shook me and shoved me a lightly.

I grunted a little and didn't want to get up but I kept being bothered. I thought it was my dad so I rolled over. I opened my eyes to see josh was standing above me.

"Wait... what? I thought... How long was I sleeping?" I asked concerned as I sat up in the red sweater.

"I didn't go to Florida Ty. I needed to know if you were okay." He said as he went in for a hug. He got on one knee on my bad as he wrapped his arms around my back and shoulders. His face made it into his neck as I started to blush heavily. He looked as if he needed to say something. He then cleared his throat and I pulled away from the long, warm hug.

"Uh. I... I think I love...you too." He said as he looked like he meant it.

"Wait, what did you just say?" I said more surprised than I thought I would as I pressed my lips together.

"I love you Tyler. I do and I won't change that. Do you love me?" he asked as he got off of my bad and look down at his black combat boots.

"I do josh. I really do. I'm shocked you feel the same way I do and did for the longest time." I say waving my hands around as I get off of my bed and head for him. I was face to face with him now. He stood there still looking on the floor. I then put my left hand on his chin and my right hand on his left arm. I lifted up his head and gripped his arm tight. He looked at me with his mocha colored, shark like eyes. His expression when my face got closer was telling me to kiss him. The voices wee telling me to do more.

At this moment of me coming in closer my mom walked in. I let go of him as fast as I could and rolled onto my bed and hid under the covers.

"What's going on?" she asked us. While she had her arms crossed.

"He was helping me get an eyelash out of my eye." Josh said in a calm voice.

"Alright. Did he get it?" she said.

"He almost did but you walked in and scared him." He replied.

"Well Tyler we're going out to eat if you want to come." She asked as I started to uncover myself.

"I don't want to go out. Can I stat home?" I asked as I got out of my bed and stood up.

"Alright. Do you want us to bring to something or are you going to have cereal for the forth time today?" She asked as she looked at the Josh and me and back at him again.

"I'll just make a sandwich. I don't feel like going out. I was already outside today." I said as I kissed her on her cheek. "You guys have fun. We'll be here hanging out for awhile."

"Okay, have fun but not too much fun I guess I could say. But I need to talk to you privately Tyler."

"Okay." I said as I headed out the door after my mom. I held my finger as a signal for Josh to wait.

We got in the hall and she looked a little mad.

"What the hell was going on when I walked in?" she asked as her nostrils were flaming with fury.

"Nothing mom. Josh just had an eyelash in his eye and asked me to get it out for him. We didn't do anything." I lie. All I wanted to do was kiss him and thrust my hips towards him.

"Don't you dare lie to me Tyler Robert Joseph?" She practically yelled across the whole state of Ohio. It sounded like a question and she put an emphasis on dare.

"I'm not. Oh my god mom. Just go have fun and go out and don't come back until midnight so I wont have to see you before I go to bed." I say as Josh opens the door a little bit and then shuts it as soon as it opened.

"Whatever mom go and don't come back for awhile. I just want a peaceful night. And some time to me for once. You don't need to be here for me anymore today or any other day because I have my best friend here and he'll take care of me."

"Well, we'll be gone in ten minutes. Forget I ever asked you anything." She said as she went down the stairs.

I went in my room and saw Josh covering his ears tight and tremblingwith his knees held close to his chest against my headboard. I got close to himand saw he wasn't trembling. He was rocking back and forth slightly. I didn'tknow why so I put my hand on his shoulder.
