{Tyler}
I woke up and Josh had his arms around me. I wanted to stay there but I had to pee. I unwrapped myself from his beefy arms. I then snuck a pillow in his arms. I went to the bathroom and peed. After I was done I flushed and went to the sink. I was washing my hands and looked down at the pants I was wearing. I smiled and then looked up. I saw myself in the mirror. I was hideous.
"You're nothing." I heard from inside. "You don't deserve happiness Tyler." I stopped the water and sat on the floor. "He needs to go." "You need to be free. You need to write on your skin"
I grabbed my ears and tried to block out the sound of his voice but it kept going on. I knew what I had to do. I got up on my knees and looked in the drawers and in the medicine cabinet. I found a razor. I looked at it for a second and second-guessed the situation and then I heard a whisper. "Do it." I then bent and looked for scissors. I found some under the sink and looked at the scars on my wrists. I didn't feel shame. I don't understand.
I opened the scissors and looked at my wrist again. I saw the scars that have healed and then the ones I made not too recently. I then lay the blade on my arm and slid it up and down while my arm was in front of me horizontally. It felt good.
"Good job Tyler. You're such a good boy." Said the whisper of Blurry.
I brought it on my whole left and right arm. I could feel heat rising in my body. The slits started to burn. But I'd have to admit the burning sensation was satisfying. I got the blade away from my arm and stood there while I looked at myself in the mirror. The blood dripping from my arms and into my hands made me feel like I had killed a man. I've killed a man. I killed the little innocent boy that's still in me rotting away. He was a little boy with the heart of gold, the eyes the size of the moon and so gullible. He got pushed around. He was so passive. He still is while being a walking corpse trying to live a non-existent life. It hurt. It hurt knowing I had let myself fall to this all time low. I let a simple voice control me. He needed to go.
I placed the scissors in the sink and put my hands on it as well. My blood dripped onto the shirt Josh gave me. It was on the floor in little rain puddles. I could taste metal in my mouth. I could smell it too. By body began to shake while I tried to turn on the faucet. I put my hand in the water as it warmed up. I could feel warmth. I cupped my hand attempting to clean my arm off. As I had water in my hand I poured it onto the open slits on my arm. The burning sensation was broader and it hurt more but it felt great.
I heard a knock on the door as I was hissing from the pain. I knew it was Josh.
"Yeah?" I called out
"Are you okay?" he asked as the knob was turning
"I'm just peachy." I replied as he walked in. his facial expression was horrified. He rushed to me as fast as he could.
"What happened?" he asked as he helped me wash off my arm.
"Nothing." I said looking at him while he wrapped toilet paper around his hand and placed it on my arm.
"Yeah right Ty. Did Blurry tell you to do this?" he asked as he turned off the faucet and held the toilet paper to my arm. He stared into my eyes in hopelessness.
"Yeah..." I became silent. He did as well. I hissed as he put pressure on my wounded arm.
"It's going to be okay. I'm here for you Ty." He said as he kissed a part of my arm that wasn't gushing out blood.
"I'm so, so, so, sorry Josh." I said, as he pressed harder onto my arm.
"It's not your fault. You just slipped that's all. You gave into what he was telling you. Just try and not do it again. Please?" he had his bottom lip out as he pulled off the toilet paper. My slits had toilet paper in them. Josh then got out hydrogen peroxide out and rolled more toilet paper around his hand.
"No, no, no, please." I said as he poured the liquids on the toilet paper.
"It wont hurt. Its nothing like alcohol. It bubbles and gets all the bad stuff out of your wound and cleans It." he explained as I hid my arm behind my back and nodded no some more. He then grabbed my arm with force. "I don't your arm to be infected." He then placed the soaked toilet paper on my arm. I hissed and it ended up not hurting like he said it wouldn't.
"Stop being such a baby." He chuckled and shook his head.
As Josh was taking care of me I remembered when we met. In a coffee shop and we were in a band right off the bat. We didn't get along too easily. We had a ton of things in common and different views on things. We split for a while but I felt a spark between us. I went to the same coffee shop for weeks hoping for the day to come through that door. One day my wish came true.
I was walking towards the door and saw him coming in. I pretended that I didn't see him and I bumped into him with my coffee. It spilled as I bumped into him. The coffee got all over his clothes. I felt bad for what happened but I was happy we made eye contact.
"Hey Tyler." He said as he tried to wipe the sticky substance off of him.
"Hey Josh, I'm sorry I spilled my coffee on you. I'm so clumsy." I said as I grabbed napkins off the table that was conveniently right next to the door and trashcan.
"It's alright. Do you want to hang some time." He asked me while we cleaned up each other.
"Yeah. I would like that." I said as I put more napkins in the trash. Josh grabbed some more and helped clean me off.
"Cool. I have to go home though. I need to change." We shook hands and he left. I was relieved that he wanted to hang after I bumped into him and spilled my coffee all over him.
We hung out and sparks flew. They set my heart on fire. We even hung out everyday and then we worked on music together and that's when we thought about making the band I dreamt of. We then hung out almost everyday working on new pieces. Josh was a great drummer. I liked looking at him in the zone. He also had great muscles.
After a while we just hung out and played a video game called Sufi and I won we got physical.
"Dang you beat me again Ty." He chuckled and took my remote. I tried to get it I am teller than him but he is stronger than I am. I then grabbed the remote from his hand and he tackled me to the ground from my couch. He was onto of me and we faced each other while I gazed his face got close to me. He looked me in the eyes and smiled. I brought my face closer to his and our lips were close. He got even closer and I shut my eyes as his lips hit mine. Our lips moving while our heads moving side to side. He laid on me and we kissed more. He bit my bottom lip a few times and I sucked on his.
We moaned loud while my house was abandoned my family and only we were in the house that day. He kissed my neck and I bucked my hips. I didn't know why but my body knew.
"Tyler?" Josh asked as he waved his hand in my face. I blinked and looked at him getting out of my daydream.
"I love you." I said as I kissed his soft face.
"I love you too Ty." He then hummed while wiping my arm down and then adding some Neosporin on it.
"Thank you for being there for me through it all and taking care of me now. I really appreciate it."
"Your welcome Hun. I just want you to be safe. That's all I want from you. Got it?"
I nodded my head. We left out of the bathroom and went into the kitchen.
"You hungry?" Josh asked.
"Yeah?" I said as I rubbed my stomach.
"You need food." He replied to my almost questioned answer. He pattedhis stomach as well. "I need some grub too."
