Chapter 3

{Tyler}

As I was home I got a text from Josh.

Oh my god Tyler I got noticed by a girl in public. She came up to me and complimented my gauges and then we talked about what band I was in and stuff. It was awesome.

I looked at the text and had a girly screech come out of my mouth for a second. I put my legs on my desk chair as I read the text again and again. I thought it wasn't real then I texted back.

I can't believe it. That is awesome. Was it a great experience?

I texted back and waited for a response.

As I waited I went for my keyboard and looked at the CD I recorded a long time ago. It said No Pun Intended in black sharpie that was a little smeared. I then got up grabbed it and headed to my stereo. I popped it in and went to the fourth track. I sat and listened to my voice. I wanted to cry because I remembered what I was thinking about when I screamed save over and over. When I said Jesus in a trembling voice. I knew I needed Josh.

I ended up getting a call from him after half an hour of no response. The phone rang about two times when I picked up and heard his precious voice.

"Are you okay Tyler?" he asked in a concerned tone.

"I'm alight. I just miss you already." I say as truthfully as I could.

"Awe. I miss you too Ty." He said in a voice I noticed he only uses when he talks to me.

I then sang for him after five minutes of talking "Won't you stay alive? I'll take you on a ride; I will make you believe you are lovely. Won't you stay alive? I'll take you on a ride; I will make you believe you are lovely."

I heard him laugh and I laughed too. "I love you Josh" I said accidentally and hung up as soon as I said it.

I couldn't believe I said that to him like that. I was pacing back and forth while my phone rang and rang over and over again from Josh attempting to get ahold of me. My mom then came in my room and told me Josh was calling.

"Tell him I'm fine. I'll call him later. Please?" I told my mom as I heard her shut my door.

I then I lay on my bed and covered myself in a red sweater Josh let me borrow when It rained as we took a walk and were coming back home because he didn't want me to get too wet while walking me home. I remember he spent the night that day because he was soaked from the rain. My mom dried his clothes and he spent the night in my room. We played my Xbox and my PlayStation. We also got into a fight over the red control for some reason and that's when I started to fall in love.

I was winning a race on a game called Sufi and Josh was getting a little frustrated. I was just laughing and taking in all of the glory. He then took my red Xbox controller and held it high in his almost muscular bare arms at the time. I tried to get it back. I got up from my spot and he thought it was funny to curl on the floor like an armadillo and hide it under him. I then went on the floor and wrapped my arms around his hips to try to get the remote from under him. He then turned around and we fell face to face. We both were dazed and were hypnotized by the beautiful colors of each other's eyes.

I then got up and didn't do anything but curl into a ball and fall asleep that night. I knew Josh looked a little disappointed but I couldn't figure out why and I still can't till this very day.
