Agents of Crime

Chapter 1: Agency greating

I walk into the public library, hoping to destroy the place.
My name is Athena, but people call me Redfox, it's my last name. I have black hair and blue eyes. You can't kill me, we'll unless you give me a deadly disease. I can also die by old age. I live on the streets with my childhood best friend, Brody. We aren't the kind type of people. We trash stores, kill homeless people, and steal. He can turn into a demon! And one of his eyes are fully black, I think it's the right one. It's like he's possessed in one eye.
Anyway, I walk in the library and look around. Everything's quit, like a library should be. I walk down an isle, trying to look like an innocent girl looking for a book. I look around, and it seems I'm the only one here.
"You gunna bye a book?" The librarian asks impatiently. I look at him, then look back at a book. I grab it then open it. I start tearing the papers out of the book.
"You have to pay for that" he says. I walk to the back of the store.
I feel pain from the back of my head, then I see blackness. I fall to the floor. Someone drags me out of the back door of the store.
I rub my eyes then open them to I guy siting across a small table from me. I look at him puzzled.
"Ah, your finally awake" he says. "Who are you?" I say still dazed. "I'm Eren, Eren Rangle." He says. He seems kind, but I still don't trust him. He holds out his hand to shake mine. I shake it.
"I'm Athena Redfox" I say all shaky. "I know" he says. I look at him confused."Brody told me everything."
" What'd you do to him?" I ask, with my eyes widened. "Nothing, I told him why we needed yalls information" he says. "Why?" I ask him. "You and Brody are going to stay here, and commit more crimes, and kill the meteor agency's leader." He says, and smiles. "Why us?" I ask. "Y'all have special abilities, that normal human beings can't possibly have" he says. He seems smart. "Yeah, I know we do" I say, trying to act smart. "What can you do" I ask him, then rest may feet on the table, trying to act cool. "Teleport, turn invisible, and I can go threw walls." He answers.
"Woow, that's so cool" I say. He pushes my feet off the table, and I almost fall off the chair, but I catch myself. He gets up and holds out his and to help me up. I grab his hand and he pulls me up. (Cute).
He leads me threw a hall way. There are many rooms, but no doors. I look in a room and see a boy punching a punching bag. The room has a bunch of squares all over it like pixels, the room also has a bunch of punching bags hanging from the roof. He has a black dot on his arm. I wonder what that is? Eren stops and looks back at me. " that's Shon when he was a little boy he couldn't control his abilities. He has fire as an ability. He burned down his house and burned his parents alive, killing them. firefighters found him. He ran away into the woods, where there were mountains. He met a fire dragon that raised him until he was 11. The dragon disappeared, leaving him alone. The only thing he has left from his dragon is one of its teeth that hangs around his neck today."
That's tragic and sad. I say to myself. I walk to another room and see a maroon haired girl with a scar on her neck. She's doing exactly the same thing that the other boy was doing. Same kind of room, but different colored squares. Same black dot on the same arm.
" That's kaitlyn her parents thrown her in a zoo cage with a bunch of lions, because they found out she was very dangerous. The Lions scratched her and gave her a scar on her neck. She won, but she still lives with that memory. She escaped the zoo and ran away. A married couple decided to take her in. She lived with them until she turned 18. She got her own place. Then we captured her." Eren says.
I look at her fascinated. "OK, the rest of the people you can meet tomorrow." He says. He grabs my hand and leads me to a room. He opens the door and pushes me in "here's your room"he says. "See you tomorrow."
"wait-" he shuts the door before I could say anything. I plop down on the bed. I make myself comfortable, and fall asleep.
