Ch. 2 Day of Meeting and Greating

I wake up to sirens and I quickly run to the door. I swing it open and look down the hall. I see people opening their doors and coming out with PJs on and walking down the hall towards the cafeteria. I hear a door open behind me and Brody comes out of his room. He looks at me with a sluggish look.
" I guess it's time for breakfast." He says casually.
We walk side-by-side down the hallway. We enter the cafeteria and see Eren in the middle of the room drinking coffee. He's walking around looking bored. We walk up to him to ask what's going on.
" oh hey guys! good morning did you have a good night's rest?" He asks us. Eren yawns and stretches. "Yep! That was the best sleep I've had in years" He says. "Yeah it was amazing." I say acting like I'm paying attention but really I'm staring at everybody in the room. There's just so many people. I think to myself.
"There's food if you want any. I'm sure y'all are very hungry." Eren says. "That's where I'm heading right now" Brody says and starts speed walking.
"So, Athena. Are you and Brody Bother and sister, boyfriend and girlfriend, or just friends?" Eren asks. "We grew up together, by ourselves. We're just childhood friends." I say.
He sips his coffee. "hmmm"
"Are we meeting every one today?" I ask. "Yep! It's gunna be a long day for you two." He says. "Y'all are gunna meet people, get chips for your training rooms, and train. You won't meet all of the people here, but you'll meet your team mates."
"What do you mean chips?" I ask . "Y'all are going to get chips that you can put in your arms for when you train" he says. It seems creepy, will we have holes in our arms?
Brody walks up to us, with a plate filled with food. "This is really good" he says with food in his mouth.
"hop up on the table for me please" Eren says. He pats the table next us, with no one sitting at it. "Come on stand up here" he says.
I jump up on the table. Everyone in the room gets quiet. I'm look around. I look very shy. "You to Brody" I hear Eren say. Brody joins me. Everyone looks up at us like an audience. Eren holes up on the table too. "This is Athena Redfox and Brody Smith. They were living on the steets together for years. They are new here and I'd like them to introduce themselves. And I'd like Thier team mates to introduce themselves to them aswell." He says loudly. Six people stand up. I realize a boy I seen yesterday, he was training. His name is Shon. He's the fire boy. I also recize a maroon haired girl. Her name is kaytlen. Eren taps me. " You first."
" Hi, I'm Athena, I can't die, that's my ability. When I was 5 me and my parents got in a car accident near a cliff. The car we were in got hit off the cliff. Me and my parents died. Unfortunately I survived. Well I came back to life. I climbed out of the car and walked for hours. I found I road and I sat beside it. I woman found me and took me to a foster home. That's where I met Brody. We became best friends and played together. We planed to escape the foster home. And we did. We lived in the foster home for six years until we did. We lived on the streets the rest of the years until now." I say. Everyone looks like they feel bad for me.
Brody steps up. "I'm Brody. When I was born, my parents did want me because I looked different. I have a black colored eye."he moves his hair to let everyone see." They put me in a foster home, where I met Athena. I am part demon." He says. Most of the girl in the room look at him like he's a hot celebrity.
"OK now why don't you guys introduce yourselves." Eren says pointing at the people standing. I suppose they are our team mates. One boy energetically jumps up on the table.
" Hey I'm Shon. I'm pretty sure Eren already told y'all about me" he says kindly. "He loves me" he wipers. "I'm his assistant. Other known as his little helper."
"Yes, Shon, I told them about you already. Let the other people introduce themselves." Eren says.
A Navy blue haired girl jumps up. "I'm April. Me and Shon are childhood friends like you two. We met hear. When I was just 11, my mom and dad got a disease that killed them. I had to me raised by my aunt. She's still alive looking for me." She says. She's almost as outgoing as Shon. "I hope one day I'll get to see her again" her voice turns soft. "I miss her"
She slowly gets off the table. She seems sad now. I guess the memories just made her emotional.
The maroon haired girl jumps up on the table. " I'm Kaitlyn I am a shapeshifter" she whispers in my ear "Eren's mine, so don't get any ideas. If you do I'll snap your neck." Well she seems friendly. I say to myself. "I told them about you already Kaitlyn." Eren says. She hops off the table. Are they dating?
A blonde haired boy jumps on the table. He seems younger then us. "Hey I'm Micheal. I am the youngest one in the group, I'm 17." He's kinda quiet. " When I was for I touched my mom's plant, it grew as tall as a baby tree. When she came home she saw the plant. She thought it was just the new fertilizer she used on it. The next morning I touched the plant again, this time Infront of her. She screamed. She then sent me to a new family. I stayed with them until I joined this place. PS I'm a little shy."
He's adorable. He stepped down and another blonde boy jump up. He had a scar down his eye, the eye was closed.
"I'm Caleb! I'll be y'all's hair dresser. I'll also be picking out clothes for y'all too." He sounds kinda fruity. (Fruity, meaning gay) "when I was younger I was stolen from my parents, the people who stole me cut my eye open. I had no control of the ability I had at the time. I took them to my dimension. They later dead of hunger. I was found and brought to my perants. They told me to keep my eye shut or I'll hurt other people, so I did, and now I'm here."
That's crazy. He hopes off the table. Eren jumps up on the table. "I haven't told y'all my back story yet." He says with a grin.
" my name is Eren, and my last name is Rangel. I was born 22 years ago. When I was just 14 years old I figured out I could teleport. I told myself I really wanted to go somewhere, and I did. when I did I was freaked out. I told no one. Not even my parents, nor close friends.
I wanted to learn more about what I was and what I could do, so I went into the woods every night without telling my parents. I trained and trained. I teleported from the beginning of the woods, to the end of the woods, to the middle, to the side and then into a place where I couldn't find myself. I teleported back and forth and back and forth, after that I had figured out I could do more. I could go through trees and through vines and bushes. When I turn 16, I decided I was going to make a community of people that were different. Not like Humanity. When I was 17, my dream came true. I met Jane, and me and her decided we were going to make it. Yes, this place is brand new. When I was 18 we were finished. Other people figured out I made my own facility of people who are different. The other people decided to also. They're trying to become the best. They're trying to kill us and make us weak, because whoever becomes the strongest can rule the world. Now me and Shon capture people and make them join us. We have advanced technology that we use to find any people with any type of abilities, thanks to Jane."
Goodness, that's a story. "Now, Jane, why don't you introduce yourself" Eren says. He hops of the table, and Jane hops on.
" HEY. I'm Jane!" She shakes our hands. " I'm just one year older than Eren. When I was 6 I touch my dad's computer and it broke. Well, it started glitching. My Dad figured out and took me to the hospital. The doctors said that I had blood they couldn't figure out. My parents gave up sooner or later on figuring out what out what I was. When I was 16 I found Eren at a coffee shop all lonely. We talked through the hole day. When he told me he wanted to make a community I was all in. I helped him build it and create training machines and training rooms that you can put a chip in your arm and the see a whole new world in your eyes. The little squares in the room were connected to the chip. The punching bags were the enemies in your own world. When we finished me and him decided to find people. Shon was the first person we found."
Well, she seems kind. "That's all." She says, then jumps off. I see her neck had rips. I can see electrical things inside her neck.
"Now for y'all's chips, and rooms. Y'all will be getting a whole cut in y'all's arms, the right size for y'all's chips. Brody, your getting the room with black squares. Athena your getting the room with purple squares. Every morning y'all will eat then go train, after a whole year, you'll be ready to go on missions." Eren says.
Oh golly. I don't want a hole in my arm...
"Come on" April says. " It'll be quick."
