Ch. 9 I love you more....

Brody walks past me, not looking at me, like I wasn't even there.
I decide to follow him.
"What do you want," he asks. Apparently he noticed.
"I just wanted to tell you...Something," I say. He turns around and looks at me with a uninterested look. "I-I felt like a bad friend after Eren and I...You know..," I say. He grins a little bit. "Don't worry about it, and trust me, your not a bad friend, your everything anyone could wish for," he says, making me blush a little.
"Thank you," I say softly. He hugs me, and I hug him back. "Please, forgive Eren," I say. "He's like a brother, I can't just stay mad at him, I don't keep grudges," he says. He places his hand on my cheek. "I forgive both of you, it's not like y'all actually like each other," he says.
My smile turns into a frown, as I think of Eren. I still love him, just....Not as much as Brody.
"What's wrong," Brody asks. "Nothing," I lie. "Oh, I just remembered, the mission is tomorrow," he says. "Oh yeah, I hope we succeed," I say. Brody smiles, then grabs my hand. "You know we are," he says.
"Athena....I love you," he says...
My cheeks turn pink. But what about Eren....I love him as well.
"I love you too," I say. He leans in, and I know what he's doing...
So...I go with it. He kisses me gently, but doesn't stop. He places his hand on my cheek, and pushes me against a wall with the other. I set my hands on his shoulders. He then sets his hand on my hips, and stops kissing. "I'm sorry," he says, and I could tell he's incredibly embarrassed. I giggle at how adorable he looks, embarrassed. "Don't be," I say, smiling.

"I love you more," I whisper.
