Ch. 5 Getting to know you better

Eren wakes me up for training. I get up and he walks out so I can change. I change into my suit and head down to my training room. Eren is waiting there for me. He's leading on the back wall. I walk over to him and he stops leaning. "Ready for balance training," he asks. I nod, while yawning.
He gets 3 pieces of wood and stacks then. He grabs my hips and sets me on them. "Now try and walk across them without falling," he says.
I look at him like he's insane, then look forward and take a deep breath. I start walking very slowly. Eren claps his hands and says to walk faster.
I trip and fall, but Eren catches me.
"Man, Athena, your bad at this," he says jokingly. "I know," I say, giggling. He puts me back on the wood and holds my hand while I walk. I walk all the way across and through my hand in the air. "Yes, I did-," I say then fall on Eren. I look at him wide eyed. "I'm so sorry," I say then get up. "No problem, I've delt with worse," he says, then sits up. I sigh in relief.
After a few hours, I'm an expert in balance.
"How does it feel to teleport," I ask Eren, then eat a piece of a waffle. He swallows his last bit of his waffle. "It makes me have butterflies in my stomach, but I got used to it," he says.
I squint my eyes at him, while he's not paying attention. "Why do you cover your right eye," I ask. He pauses then looks at me. "That's classified," he says. "Why is it such a big deal," I ask. He looks at me with an angry look. "You don't need to know," he yells. There's a silence for a second."I'm sorry," I say quietly. He gets up and hugs me. "I'm sorry I snapped," he says. "It's okay, I shouldn't have asked," I say. He lets go have me and looks at me, with his beautiful blue eye.
After a few hours me and him are now playing g around and telling jokes in him room. "If me and you got in a fight, who would win," I ask. "Let's see," he says, while laughing. He pushes me then hovers over me. Me and him laugh real loud. He starts tickling me and I start to squirm around, trying to get him to stop. I laugh uncontrollable. He stops, then moves my hair out of my face. I want to do the same, but I can't.
"I know what your thinking," he says, then moves his hair out of his face. "I trust you enough to not tell anyone about this,"
I look at him with my jaw dropped and my eyes widened. "Your other eye is purple?" I asked. He nods his head. "That's so cool," I say. "You like it," he asks. "Yeah, purple's my favorite color," I say. "When I was younger, people made fun of me," he says. I put his hair behind his ear. " Well, I like it," I say softly. He leans in close to kiss me. We hear a knock on the door and we jump up. Eren opens the door to April. "Jane sent a message, and I think you might want to read it..." She says. He looks at her curiously, then looks back at me. "Come with us," he says.
I follow him and April into a room. April shows us the message on a huge computer. Is says;

Eren, we have bad news. We can't find Brody, he seems to be missing. We are hoping he's not dead....

At this point I was already in tears. He could be dead! Eren and April hug me.
"Why couldn't that have been me out there," I sob. Eren wipes my tears. "Well get him back I promise," he says. April pats my back.
I sluggishly walk into my room. Around my eyes are pink because of crying so much.
I plop down on my bed and think about how much I charish my friendship with Brody. I fall asleep, then dream about the good ol' days, when me and Brody were kids....But then nightmares come.
