Ch. 3 Chips and Training

April opens the door to her office.
I walk in after her, and so does Brody.
I look around. I'm so scared! I think.
I have to have a whole in my arm!
"OK guys, sit" April says. She points at two chairs. She rolls her office chair over to me. "You first" she says with a grin. "This is gunna hurt, but I'll numb it for ya'' she grabs a needle that's filled with numbing stuff. She then slides the needle in my arm. My face tenses. "Ow!" I say loudly. Brody puts his hand on my shoulder.
She takes the needle out, then throws it away. "Next is the chip, witch will include a square hole in your arm. But it'll heal. Trust me." She smiles. She grabs my arm tight. My eyes widen. She grabs a knife and starts cutting a hole. I scream, but I notice it doesn't hurt. The numbing stuff works!
When she's done she inserts a chip. She grabs a USB and holds it close to my face. "This is your USB, you'll use this only when training." I nod my head. She puts it in my hand, you put it in the hole in your arn so you can see a world of your own." She grins. "It's pretty neat."
I look at the black USB. My own world? I think. She rolls her chair infront of Brody, and does the exact thing.
Eren walks in. "Ok guys next y'all will be seeing yalls rooms, training rooms"
He leads us down the hallway I saw yesterday. No doors, and square covered rooms with hanging punching bags.
"This is your room Athena" Eren stops at a purple square covered room. I walk in and look around. Eren grabs my arm. "Put it in"
I look at him puzzled. Then I remember the USB. I look at my hand holding the USB, I then put it in the hole in my arm. I hear it click and transform into a black button connected to my arm. I then look around seeing nothing but blackness. Then.... I can see I'm on top of a building, that looks like it's flouting on air. There are more around me. It's dark. And glowing purple around the buildings. My eyes widen. "Omg, I'm not seeing this!" I yell. I step back and bump into something. It feels like metal. I turn to see a metal flouting robot. I loom up at its cold purple glowing eyes. I scream and run. I stop before the edge of the building. I look back, but before I new it I'm falling of the building to a pit of blackness.
I feel a click on my arm. I sit up quickly looking frightened. I'm breathing heavy, and I'm sweating. I see I'm on the floor in my training room, and Eren is kneeling beside me holding my arm. Brody's standing behind Eren with a scared look.
"You ok? Everyone's first try was kinda like this." Eren says. My breathing slows down and I whip my forehead. "I don't get it, how was I seeing that? " I ask. "It's like virtual reality. The chip connects to your body making you feel, smell, and see the training. It's like a video game, except you are in it. The USB stores the data, and tells us how your advancing." He says. Does he always sound smart?
I rub the back of my head.
This is just to much. I think. Eren helps me up. "You'll be training for 3 years everyday, all day, until your first mission. Got it." He says. "Goodness" I say.
Brody's still standing there, looking puzzled. "Okay Brody come with me, Athena you stay here a train." Eren says leaving the room with Brody following him.
I look at my arm with the button. How does this work? I push the button. I see the same place as last time. I feel something punch my back. "Ow"
I look back. There's the same stupid robot behind me from the first time, and he pushed me off of this building. I look at it frightened. I push it. That doesn't get me anywhere. The robot forcefully pulls my hair. "OW" I yell. I grab the robots arm. It starts to lift me up by my hair. I scream bloody murder. It hurts so bad. His other arm grabs my leg then throws me off the building. Once again I'm falling into a pit of blackness. I scream.
I look at the button in my arm and remember. I click the button and next thing you now I'm sitting on my training​ room floor.
This is crazy....
