Safe Haven

Alice's P.O.V

I couldn't get her words out of my head. I got home and it was still standing so I sighed.

Til I got in.

My home phone was broken, just lying on the floor. I walked into my living room and my flat screen is BROKEN?

Oh hell I'm gonna kill that bastard. "Blake?!" It was awfully quiet so I headed upstairs "Blake?" Then the bathroom door was open "Blake?" He came out "Hi Alice you're back."

"Why is my t.v broken and my home phone destroyed?" I questioned. He looked confused "What's a t.v? And a home phone?" I rolled my eyes and muttered under my breath "You're from a non-technological world."

His hair was tousled and sticking out in different directions. It made him look like the ideal model. "Alice? You okay?" He broke through my train of thoughts. "Yeah, what else did you break?"

I went in Jason's room and gave him fresh clothes. "This is a t-shirt. And this is a boxer you wear it before your pants." I gave it to him. "Stay here and change." He nodded

I went downstairs and fixed my home phone. After fixing it there was a message.

"Hey Honey, hope you're well and having a great day. you sure you don't want us to hire body guards or take you to grandma's house. Anyways I hope you're okay. We love you very much sweetie."

I smiled. Mom as always worried about me when I'm fine. The t.v? I guess I'll have to buy a new one.

My stomach started growling. I made my way to the kitchen when I was surprised. The fridge was still opened, the floor was wet. The dishwasher light was on. I opened it when the water sputtered out.

I turned it off. "I'm done Alice" He walked in the kitchen seeing me soaking wet. "Sorry I didn't know how to use it even til now." I would've been mad but instead I laughed.

It was surprising that one person could destroy nearly everything in this house but it made me smile. My safe haven destroyed by some stranger but it was okay.

He frowned "I'm sorry Alice I'm new to these things and I don't know how to use them that's why I broke your t.v and home phone." I giggled "Blake its fine."

He smiled. I beckoned him to come "Let me show you how it works." He made his way and stood next to me. "This is called a dishwasher. If you're too lazy to wash them by hand you put them in here and this machine will wash it for you."

He stared at it. "Dishwasher" I chuckled. "Okay moving on. This is called a fridge" I opened both doors. "This is where we store food." he smiled and looked at me "Fridge"

It was fun teaching him. Like teaching a child. we had a few laughs together and I felt happy being here with him. "Okay this is an oven." He looked at it "What does it do?" "It heats up food." his mouth made an 'oh' shape.

"Okay lets go to the mall." He raised an eyebrow "Mall? What does that mean? Is it an oven?" I laughed a little "No, its a shopping center." He still didn't get it.  "In other words its like a...a market. Sort of but its cleaner and yeah."

He seemed convinced so we headed after we cleaned up the mess. Even the little things had to be explained like the sponge, blender, microwave but I still had a good time.

We locked every door and went to the car. "So what is this odd shape thing call?" I smiled "Its a car, get in." he looked at it.

I chuckled "Let me show you." I went over and opened it. He smiled and closed the door opening it by himself. "This is alright."

I went and got in the driver's seat. "Ready for another adventure?" He chuckled "Yes I am" I buckled my seat belt. "Buckle up man" He looked at the seat belt then back at me.

Blake's P.O.V

I sucked in a breath and copied what she did. Once it made a clicking sound I turned to her. She held her hand up. "Hi five"

I tapped hers with mines. "Good job." I couldn't help but be happy that she wasn't mad about me destroying her things. We went to the market. She said it was a mall

The so called car went by fast "This is odd but somehow it feels great." I turned to her. She smiled "Totally." "So how your day?" "It sucked. Some girl brought up my brother in front of everyone and said he's probably dead. So yeah that's why I ditched school."

"Want me to talk to that girl?" She shook her head "Its okay besides I have you to thank." I chuckled "But I didn't talk to her yet" She smiled

"You made me smile and that's all that matters so thank you." My heart was pounding crazily over what she just said.

Could be possible that I'm falling for Beautiful Alice?

I decided to keep it to myself. Back home Laura would've tried anything to get with me but Alice? No

She was kind enough to let me stay, show me new things and explain how they work. She made my day.

"Alice can I ask you a question?" She kept her eyes on the road til we came to a halt. "Sure what is it?"

"What's love like?" I felt her eyes on me so I glanced in her direction. She turned light shade pink.
