~Limited 2nd Person P.O.V.~
Y/N was waiting for a certain silver haired fox to return, laying down. Your H/C hair spread across the floor, your eyes looking up at the ceiling. Yomi was standing next to you, his face watching the door. You both had finished your job before Kurama did, which, came as a surprise to the both of you. He was always back before anyone, rather you worked as a team or not.
You sighed, deciding he was just playing with his girl toys again. Yeah, that had to be it. He was rewarding himself with some pleasure. I could give him so much more than they could. You said, your face growing red hot. Yeah, that's right. You, Y/N Y/L/N, was jealous, envious, of those girls.
What could they give, that you couldn't? You had an attractive form, slim. Your hair was H/L, H/C, which was nothing like them, and your eyes. Your eyes were your best feature. Big, bright, E/C colored orbs, like a crystal. All they had were dull, small, dusty eyes. They held no color.
"You've been quiet for a while." Yomi stated, your eyes looking up at the taller man.
"Of course I am. Yoko's not back!" You pouted, sitting up, setting your right arm on your leg, your hand holding your head up. "He's got the biggest part of the treasure."
That's when you heard his footsteps. They were slightly uneven, but, they were his. Your H/C fox ears perked, happy to know he came back. Your fox tail twitched, wagging slightly, your E/C eyes meeting with his gold ones.
"Why do you look so happy?" Yoko asked, snarled, really, your ears folding down, pain wracking your heart, your eyes finally seeing the blood that trickled down from the left side of his head.
"What happened?" You asked, your eyes wide in surprise. "What got yo~"
"Just shut up." He growled, throwing the bag of treasure on the ground, your eyes looking down.
You, of course, expected that kind of reaction. He'd always get mad when you got too happy in his presence, or, if you showed any sign of caring about him. It confused you, really, it did. But, it seemed like today, the anger was different. It seemed, like he was hurt at something you did.
"She does hold a good question. What happened?" Yomi asked, and you felt glares aimed in your direction.
"If someone had shut off the traps like they were supposed to, I wouldn't of had to clean up their mess." Yoko replied, your face twisting into a frown.
You did shut those traps off. All of them, in fact. Did they reset after a period of time? That had to be why they went off. But, you made sure that couldn't happen. Then, how did they go off?
"Are you listening you no good br~" Yoko started, frowning as you stood up, still looking down.
"I'm going back. I know I shut them off." You said, then looked into his golden, angered eyes. "If they do reset like I think, then, I might not be back for a while. If, ever."
"What do you think that'll accomplish?" The silver fox growled, Yomi sighing.
"If nothing else, it'll get my no good self out of your hair by death." You snapped back, his golden eyes widening in shock as you walked out of the base, tears welling up in your eyes...
You came back after three weeks, blood staining your fur, clothes, skin, hair, everything. You found out that, yes, those traps reset. That those traps take five minutes to reset. It was hell getting out of there.
Most of the gang wasn't at base, so you thought they went out on a job. You went back to the river that flowed through the base, with a stack of clean clothes, and washed the blood off of you. The smell of it was enough to turn your stomach.
"Y/N, you're back!" One of the members, a decently close friend of yours, F/N (friend name), exclaimed, running up to you.
"Yeah, barely though." You laughed lightly, pain washing through your body.
"I, have some bad news to tell you." They said, almost afraid. "Yoko and Yomi, they're. They're not part of the gang anymore. They haven't come back since their mission, but, Yomi sent a letter explaining what happened. It's, I'll set it back in your room."
"A~alright." You replied, shock taking over your being. "Thank you for telling me this."
"It's the least I could do. After all, you deserve to know where Yoko is, since I know you've liked him for a while." Your friend smiled sadly, before they walked away, leaving you alone to drown in your thoughts, leaving you a blushing mess.
You quickly hurried up and dried off, put clothes on, then jogged back to your room, hoping the note didn't have that Yoko died. You couldn't bare the thought of the one and only, invincible Yoko Kurama died on a mere, simple mission.
You got to the room that the three of you shared, your eyes scanning for the note. A single piece of paper was placed on your makeshift bed, gently folded. You sat on your knees beside the bed, gingerly picking it up with shaking hands.
Y/N,
If you're reading this, then, the possibility of both Yoko and I leaving the gang has probably already passed. I'm writing this in hopes that it reaches you, so you know why we left.
You see, after you left and hadn't come back in a week, Yoko decided to go out on another mission, even though his head injury wasn't completely healed. That was his mistake. He was gravely wounded, and, ran off.
Another week had passed without word of him, so, I have decided to leave to search for him. I don't plan on returning until I've found him. I'm doing this not just for me, but, for you as well, as long as you're still alive. Which, I trust that you are.
I'll see you again one day, Y/N, my friend. And we'll be reunited with Yoko by then. I promise.
~YomiTears ran down from your eyes, hitting the paper, leaving evidence that someone had read the letter. You didn't imagine that was the reason they weren't back. How cowardly did Yoko have to be to do this, to run away with his tail stuck between his legs, from his comrades? Your tears now turned to ones of anger.
They both had the nerve to leave, and for what? You grinded your teeth together, making a vow. Surprisingly, not a very hate filled one.
If you saw Yomi again, you'd force him to join again, rather he found Yoko or not by then. As for when you found Yoko... You were going to tell him, that you loved him...Alright, first chappy done. That was fun at first, then sad, then even more depressing, then angry... That's a different progression of mood.
I hope you liked it (I personally didn't like Yoko, but, probably because he was heavily implied to be a womanizer, and, I hate those kinds of people...). I tried to make him seem in character from BEFORE turning into a human... How'd I do?
Well, I hope you guys/gals liked it again. Not used to doing the second person point of view, it just feels funky to me...
See you in the next chapter! Bye~bye! *waves*
