~2nd Person limited P.O.V.~
You were helping train the demons Chuu, Rinku, Jin, Touya, Shishi Wakamaru, and Suzuki at Genkai's temple, with the help of Genkai and Kurama. You weren't the strongest out there, but, you were fit for the job. You were a rather strong *choose your demon race*, and, you decided to help these demons train, as you saw it as a chance to train yourself.
This week, you were focused on the purple haired imp. To be fair, you weren't sure on what to think of Wakamaru (I'm sorry, his name is too long, and I hate Shishi as a name... It sounds childish), but, you did enjoy his company. While you noticed that he'd completely ignore other girls, and other fans, he actually paid a lot of attention to you. And, you wouldn't lie to yourself, you loved it.
How you wanted to just shove it in the fangirls faces that he paid attention to you, and not them. Even if you thought it was simply because you were training him. But it went past that, weeks after you switched off, he'd still walk around with you, staying rather close. Suzuka even made a comment about how rare that action is, coming from Wakamaru. He was certain that the imp liked you.
But, he might've been trying to just get brownie points from you, so that you'd give him better training, so you'd give him more time than anyone else for training. It wouldn't surprise you, really.
Today, you were taking a break while Kurama studied how the six males were doing. Well, by break, we mean training solo. You were slinking into different poses with your *weapon of choice*, completing different attacks, *element of choice* swirling over the weapon. That was, until you pointed your weapon at whoever has been watching you, your eyes drawn into a frown.
"You know better than to sneak up on me, Shishi." You sighed, putting your weapon down. "I thought you and the others were supposed to be training under Kurama's regiment today."
"I convinced him to let me go first. His training is rather dull, anyways." He scoffed, crossing his arms, his magenta eyes watching as you got back into your first stance, your eyes focused.
"And my training's any different? At least he doesn't push you till your energy's almost out." You stated, gliding through your poses and attacks before he showed up. "So, why come here?"
"Isn't it obvious? I prefer your company over the brutes company. You at least have grace, where they do not." He replied, his eyes never leaving you. "Besides, you also have better conversational skills than they do."
"Gee, thanks." You muttered, your heart beating roughly in your chest. "Just, don't get in my way."
You then concentrated solely on your movement, going as far as to forget that the purple haired male was there, watching you. You weren't aware of his eyes tracing your body, drinking up every movement you made. You weren't aware of the lust that was in his eyes that was there only when he watched your graceful moves, wishing that you'd give him time of day.
"Why are you so determined to get better? You don't seem to be able to get any better." Shishiwakamaru asked, still watching you, even as you stopped to give him a blank stare.
"So I don't get rusty. So I don't loose my edge. You or Suzuka don't seem to be able to get any stronger yourselves, so why do you two keep trying?" You asked back, stabbing your weapon into the ground, now paying attention to the male. "Perhaps, you shouldn't ask other people questions you yourself can't answer."
"I know why I still train to get stronger. I do it, to get someone's attention, so that they recognize that I'm not only handsome, but strong." He replied, slightly frowning.
"In comparison to the other four, you're not very strong. Maybe attractive, but not strong." You sighed, your face heating up slightly. "So, I doubt that whoever you're trying to get their attention, they're going to be paying attention to you."
You felt your heart grip tightly, your chest in pain. You weren't familiar with this feeling, but, you did know two possibilities it could be. Jealousy was your first guess, and it was the one that made sense given the situation. The other option was anger. But, what would you be angry about?
"So you say, but, it's obviously working." Wakamaru smirked, walking closer to you.
"Oh, and how's it working?" You asked, looking at his violet (magenta?) eyes, your breath hitched in your throat.
"I'm talking to the person alone right now." He whispered in your ear, his right hand combing through your hair, his fingers intertwining with your H/C locks. "So, I count that as working."
"Wh-what are you talking about? You've got to be joking. That joke's in poor taste, you know." You frowned, taking three steps back. "There's other people out there far more deserving of your att-"
"I don't want their attention. I want yours." Wakamaru whispered in a almost purr, cupping your chin in his hand, his eyes burrowing into your E/C orbs. "I want you, Y/N."
"I, what are you talking about? I've already said, this joke's in bad taste!" You yelled, trying to back away from his touch, only succeeding in falling backwards.
Shishiwakamaru caught you before you fell onto the ground, forcing you back up and against a tree, his eyes looking at you, his arms wrapped around your waist. You could feel your body become hot, your heart in your throat, and your chest cavity feeling as if someone was squeezing it. Wakamaru sighed, closing his eyes before opening them again, his magenta orbs looking at your lips.
"Why won't you believe me? Do you not want to be with someone, as popular and amazing as me?" He asked, looking back into your eyes.
"I, well. It's not that I don't, it's just that, this came out of the blue, and I have no idea how I should react." You replied, looking away from him, biting your lower lip. "I, uh, thought that you were playing a joke, like most gu-"
"I'm not like most guys, Y/N. I'd like to say that I'm better than them all." He whispered, stroking your cheek. "Please, stop denying how I feel."
"I really don't know how I feel right now. I haven't been your biggest fan in the past, and you know that. But, I guess that you have changed the parts I don't like about you." You muttered, your eyes finally looking at his. "I, guess that, I can give you a chance."
"Thank you, Y/N. You won't regret your decision." He smiled lightly, his dark eyes now bright with hope. "I love you, Y/N."
"You have a lot of proving, Shishi." You smiled back, his form backing away from yours. "And I mean a lot."
Well, I was planning on ending this on a sad note. As in, Shishi NOT having actual feelings for you, poor reader. But, I guess I'm nicer than that... Huh, odd. I like my sad endings, though, and yet, I've not had a single depressing ending. What do you guys think? Should I do more happy endings, a little bit of both, or a tad bit more sad endings?
Make your requests on the A/N, as it's easier for me to remember where your request is, and to find (I don't use my notifications, oops). Am I doing a good job with these? I appreciate feedback, rather its nice or not. I can handle it (seriously, I need some people willing to be mean/savage with their comments...).
So, uh. Yeah, that's Shishi X Reader. What do you want next, before I run out of ideas? Um. See you lovelies in the next chapter, then! Bye-bye! *waves*
