Touya X Reader

~2nd Person Limited P.O.V.~
You were out in the snow in just your *pick a summer outfit*. The snow wasn't cold to you, which made you a target of multiple bullies growing up. They'd call you weird, an abomination. Of course, that stung as you didn't know who your parents were.
Until recently, that is. Well, you weren't human, that's for sure. You were an ice demon, who was exiled into the human world with your mother, of whom died protecting you from bounty hunters. That still didn't stop you from being put in the open.
You heard about a temple of an old woman, Genkai, that housed friendly demons a few months ago, so, you went there to train yourself. Luckily, there was another ice demon like yourself, two of them, actually.
Yukina was an ice maiden of a secluded village. You two turned into friends instantly, which made you approachable to the other demons living there, especially Touya, the other ice demon. He was weary of you at first, but, when you became friends with everyone else, he slowly opened up~ enough to teach you some techniques.
Yukina taught you some healing techniques, and you taught her some minor defense techniques in repayment. Now, you were in the forest, surrounded by demons, in the snow. Your heart raced in fear, as you haven't been in a single fight yet, let alone a few dozen opponents against you.
"I've done it now." You muttered to yourself, getting ready to fight these demons off yourself. "This is how I'll go down, I know it."
"So, how do you want to die, girly/boy? Perhaps, turned to a crisp? Or maybe your limbs pulled apart?" The biggest, ugliest demon asked, a great big grin on his murderous face.
"She/he seems to like the cold, so, I'd think fire would be painful." A harsh voice screeched in glee, your body shaking in fear. "Maybe we can eat her/him while she/he's still alive! I love to hear people scream!"
"I'm not going down without a fight." You muttered, the air growing colder. "I'll probably die, though."
"Eh, she/he thinks she/he can beat us! Hah, such a joke!" The bigger demon scoffed, slamming his arm down to where you were standing.
You managed to dodge, by barely, before the third biggest demon slammed his leg into your stomach, sending you flying into several trees, knocking them down. You grunted as you hit the rough bark, feeling the thick red substance run down your back. You stood back up, rather weakly, your eyes starting to blur. You heard a familiar voice echoing through the trees, fear laced in it. Fear? Who'd be afraid of me being gone? With one solid hit to the head by the big demon, you fell to the ground, hard, black ensnaring your vision, all consciousness fading...
You woke up, your eyes meeting the ceiling of your room. Was that encounter a dream? You tried to move, but fell back down, wincing in pain, your eyes shutting tightly. How did you get back here, and, who brought you back? Surely, you didn't just walk back by yourself sleepwalking.
You opened your eyes back up, staring at the wooden ceiling. You weren't sure if this was actually your room or not. The patterns were right, at least, but, still. Your eyes wondered around the room, finding familiar items. Yup, your room.
"It looks like you're awake." Yukina smiled, walking into the room, sitting down next to you. "How do you feel?"
"I hurt." You replied, a little more harsher than you intended. "Everywhere."
"That's to be expected. You were a broken mess when he brought you back." Yukina stated, your body feeling lighter. "It's a miracle that you're even alive."
"He?" You asked, one of your questions finally being able to be answered.
"Touya. He found you, with demons attacking you. He said they were arguing over how to eat you." She replied, the door opening again to reveal the ice master, your supposed savior. "Ah, Touya, good timing!"
"Is she okay?" He asked, his icy eyes landing on your form, your eyes staring at his.
"I'm alive, if that's what you mean." You replied for Yukina, trying to sit up again. "In pain, but, alive."
"What do you think you were doing!? You know that there's demons stronger than you out there!" He yelled, causing both you and Yukina to flinch in surprise. "Why were you out there?"
"I, needed to think." You replied softly, hanging your head. "I was hoping that with the cold, they wouldn't be out."
"Don't ever do that again. You know if you need to talk, you can come to me. I have ears." Touya sighed, sitting next to you.
"It was something I needed my own council over, I couldn't talk to anyone else until I had my answer." You stated in defense, your eyes glancing at Yukina. "But, I think I have my answer, and, I'd like to see what you have to say on it. Err, could you leave us, Yukina?"
"I can. Call if you need anything." The red eyed girl smiled as she got up and left the room, leaving both you and Touya alone.
You both sat in silence for what felt like forever, anticipation in your mind. You were hoping that he wouldn't say or do anything negative with what you wanted to tell him, that he'd at worse give you a soft decline. You could feel your heart racing in your chest, your stomach doing nervous backflips. You breathed in deeply to calm your nerves, your eyes finally meeting his iced blue ones.
"The thing is, I needed council on my heart. Even if I spoke to you before now, you wouldn't be able to say how I should go about this. To tell the one I love how I felt. You don't seem to be someone who's loved before, so, I couldn't ask for your thoughts." You began, making your right hand squeeze into a fist on your lap, eyes staring at the fist. "But, I can't keep my thoughts to myself anymore, it's killing me."
Your eyes looked back at Touya, the bottom of your vision blurred by tears. You hoped he had a neutral expression so you couldn't tell how angry he was, or how irritated he was, but, it wasn't exactly neutral. It was more confused, actually. He, didn't understand where you were going with this?
"What I mean is, I, have feelings for you, and, I didn't know to what extent." You continued, your body trembling with fear for the second time to your knowledge of that day. "I didn't know, until I was alone. Touya, I love you."
Silence filled the room again, your face and body hot in embarrassment. You looked down, the tears starting to form quickly. You should've known better, he probably doesn't know what love feels like to give you an answer. You stood up, pain etching itself into your bones and muscles.
"I'm sorry, I knew you wouldn't be able to understand." You said, walking past him, tears now blocking most of your sight, opening the door softly.
You went to leave the room in a hurry, when you felt arms wrap around your waist, pulling you back into the room. The arms turned you to face the one that owned them, forcing your face into their chest. Your ears heard their uneven heartbeat, the top of your head feeling their warm breath.
"You really are an odd one." Touya sighed, holding you tighter. "You're right, I've never felt this way before. I've asked a few of the guys, Chu and Yusuke in particular, and, they both said that my heart's been captured. I didn't quite understand what they meant."
"What?" You asked, shocked, looking up to his eyes, seeing his face brushed with a pink.
"But, now I do. They were telling me that I was in love, with you." He smiled at you, your heart now in your throat. "I love you, Y/N."
"I, I'm happy to hear that." You smiled back, tears flowing from your eyes as he kissed you softly on the lips.
"Will you be my mate?" He asked quietly, nibbling on your ear.
"Yes, yes, I will." You replied happily, wrapping your arms around his neck, and kissed him deeply.
Little did you two know that Botan, Chu, and Jin were all watching/listening, Botan taking pictures of the two of you...
