Spike
I sat in my chair as I watched Aquarius sleep secured in his bird cage.
"It's not like he's hurt or anything." Sammy walked in with two glass cups and a bottle of whiskey. "If you ask me, I think he seemed surprised that his body would react in such erotic ways." He poured a glass of whiskey and handed it to me.
"Well, if you ask me, I think I acted impulsively. I may have taken it too far." I grumbled.
Sammy chuckled, "When aren't you impulsive? You're a risk taker. And when don't you take it far, there are no limits to your reign! You are Spike, King of Demon territory and soon the world!" Sammy exclaimed with a raise in his voice, accidentally spilling out some of his drink.
I rolled my eyes, "You sure know how to flatter away any insecurities."
"Damn straight." Sammy grinned as he took a gulp of his glass of whiskey. "But seriously, what has you acting soft?"
I shook my head, "Me? Soft?" I laughed obnoxiously "Don't delude yourself with false babble." Sammy nodded and glanced over at Aquarius cage. "So can I get another taste for the road?" He gently shook his glass making the ice cubes rattle.
"Do not try and take advantage of my kindness." I snapped at him. His eyes searched me as he flashed me a childish smile. I placed down the cup of whiskey and walked towards the door. Sammy followed behind, "You were very enjoyable today, maybe it's been too long. I wish we can go back to the old days." Sammy sighed.
I turned to him, Sammy's face blushed as we connected gazes. I smirked and leaned close pressing him against the door way "Back then, I only used you." I whispered, "Today I appreciate you because you continue to let me use you."
Sammy growled as he pushed me away from him and stomped off.
I stood at the door laughing, "What!? You act like its old news!" I called after him. A guard peeked over curiously. I held my stomach as I bent over laughing. I straightened up and gave the guard a serious look, "Go make sure Sammy finds his way off my territory." I gave out the order. The guard nodded and shuffled away hastily. I turned and went back into my room. I looked back over at the bird cage. Aquarius was curled up his back still facing me. Would he ever talk to me again; could his peacemaking ways not look over this. I wanted to run my fingers down the nape of his neck, I wanted to tap to his racing heartbeat. I sat down on my bed feeling almost lost as I stared at him. I was startled by a knock at the door, "Who disturbs me!" I spit at the air. The door opened as an org heavily walked in. "Master, our mission was a success. We have retrieved what you requested of us." A smile of satisfaction danced across my face as I almost forgot about the mission I had sent some shadow demons on in order to get back at Daniel and teach him a lesson. "Bring him in." I clapped. A shadow demon danced in holding the small boy wolf. I chuckled, "So this is the newest addition to king Daniels wolf pack?"
"Yes." The demon slithered, "We killed his escort, but kept him alive just like you ordered."
I smiled and nodded "yes, well done. Take him to the dungeon and bring me a cover for this cage..." I glanced over longingly, "The view isn't bringing me any pleasure as I wished." The org nodded and they both left the room. I walked over to the cage and rested my hand against the steel bars, "You hear that? Daniel thought he was going to stiff me, but alas, I have acquired a pure and young Shapeshifter from him. It wasn't originally a part of my plan but this will surely get me to the same destination." I spelled out proudly. He moved slightly as I heard him mumble something. I pressed more against the bars desperately, "What did you say?" I turned my ear towards him in case he mumbled again. He didn't, he spoke clearly.
